Last 6 months ago, my best friend informed me that she will finally get married to her long time boyfriend. He proposed to her 6 months ago and of course my best friend immediately announced the news to her love ones, including me.
They are planning to get marry this coming January or February. They don’t have exact date yet because they are still checking with the church for the availability. Of course, I will be her maid of honor and that’s why I am also helping with the wedding preparations. I’ve been helping them with all the reservation details and even with the invitations and the souvenirs. Actually, next week, we are up for a food tasting so we book the caterer as well.
And since I am the maid of honor, it is somehow given that I should be the one planning and arranging the bridal shower. Well, I’ve done this before and this time, I’ll make sure that everything will be perfect for her, as my best friend will soon be facing another chapter of her life. In fact, I was able to book the place already and I’ve started to contact few of our friends so they can free their schedule for that night. Likewise, I’m also planning to buy a cupless lingerie as a gift for her already, as early as now.
Anyway, I am just so happy and excited for my best friend. I know how much they love each other and everyone is really expecting that they will end up together. Her big day will be coming so soon and I pray for happiness and more love for them.
