The very shocking story of the death of my friend.

It was really tragic. I lost a friend because of the three devils. And yes, I call them devils because they don’t have the hearts and conscience to do this to one of the nicest person I’ve known. Everyone is grieving and still can’t accept that the FUTURE DOCTOR of our batch passed away at a very young age.

We are all shouting and praying for JUSTICE for this is what we want and what she truly deserves. We don’t only lost a forever friend, but we lost a great leader and daughter. But we know that this is God’s will so I know, eventually, we will be able to accept the reality. Time can really heal but this will be one of the hardest pains that we have to endure.

My friend lived a very fulfilling and beautiful life and I know that deep in her heart, she’s happy with what she’s done in her 20 years of living.

Though this is definitely unfair to us, we need to accept it and prayers and love will guide us through this.

You’ll forever be missed Mary Roxanne Musngi. We love you and have a great journey.

See You Again

I have already talked about the dinner date that my boyfriend organized last Saturday night in my previous post. I went out with him together with his closest friends and he decided to treat us at Yellow Cab.



We ordered the 18” pizza with two flavors namely #4 cheese and Manhattan Meat lovers, 2 Charlie Chan Pasta and hot wings by the dozen. All of these are my favorites so I was able to enjoy eating and good thing I have nothing to worry about my weight so I don’t have to take adipex diet pills. Everyone had a tummy full for we ate a lot during that time.

After dinner, my boyfriend suggested that we do movie marathon. And so we decided to go straight to his friend’s house to watch some movies. When we got there, we started watching and around 2 o’clock in the morning, we decided to play poker.

It was really a fun night and everything went well. We all had a blast and in fact, they are inviting me again for another get together maybe next week. I am now looking forward to this because I really enjoy their company.

On Redecorating

I always want my room to be organized and clean all the time and that is why every month, I always see to it that I’ll have a general cleaning in my room. I really don’t want to see any kind of mess for I get irritated and at times, I can’t concentrate on doing my things.

And for this month, I planned to have the general cleaning this week. I am actually thinking of redecorating my room so that it will look new and fresh especially in the eyes of my visitors.

So tomorrow, I’m planning to go to the mall to buy some stuff. I actually want to buy roller blinds for I prefer to use it instead of curtains. Another thing, I’ll buy new bed sheets and pillow cases and I also want to buy extra boxes for my bags, shoes, slippers and books. I need to sort out some of these things so I’ll definitely need those boxes.

Oh well, I’m still thinking of some ideas on how to redecorate my room. I still want it to be simple, relaxing and of course organized.

My brother has been in the business world for a couple of years now. He has different businesses and fortunately, all are currently running successfully. Well I can say that this is really his field for he knows how to handle every single detail properly and he is confident enough to try something new eve though sometimes, it can be risky in his business.

And now, he is planning to have another business after the success of his newly opened food stall. He is planning to have his own pharmacy and his starting to seek help and advice from his connections who are expert in this business. As for today, he is now looking for a place for his pharmacy and he is now preparing the things he needs such as receipt printer, cabinets, containers and of course, pharmacists.

I just wish my brother a good luck and I hope his success will continue especially with this new plan.

Getting Ready For Tonight

Well, aside from the dinner date that my boyfriend set up tonight, I’m going to have a party to attend to. My friend is celebrating her birthday today and she has an overnight party tonight at their house. So after our dinner, we’ll go straight to my friend’s house to celebrate her birthday.

So you see, my schedule is a bit hectic today and perhaps I’ll need my acne face wash with me because for sure, I have to stay up late for the party tonight but definitely, I know I can manage. Some of my friends are back to school so we only have fewer chances to see each other and that’s why I’m really looking forward to this and I will surely not miss it.

For now, I need to pack my things first and get ready for tonight’s events. I still have to look for a nice dress because I want to be at my best for I have so many agendas for tonight. LOL! So I guess, I have to say goodbye for now.

Tonight is the Night

I am actually excited for tonight. I have a dinner date with my boyfriend together with his high school friends that I haven’t really met personally. He arranged this dinner just to officially introduce me to them who he considers his closest friends.

We had issues before on why he doesn’t let me to hang out with them whenever they are together. I think that’s the reason why he came up with this plan so I won’t be able to think of something else that might be a start of a fight between the two of us.

I appreciated his effort and I thank him for that. But honestly, I am quite nervous because this will be my first time to be with them so I still don’t know how this plan will end up. I just hope that this will be a good one and I hope that they will enjoy my company and accept me as their friend because I believe that all of them are nice.

Missing My iPhone

I still haven’t got my iPhone 3GS. I sent it back to Globe since I was not satisfied with the display of my phone. It was yellowish and my brother who is an expert in cell phones told me that it might be a defective unit. So I didn’t hesitate to return it to Globe because of the discoloration.

The customer service said that it would take a maximum of two weeks before I get my iPhone back and it’s been 3 weeks already and I haven’t heard from them. I called them for a follow up and they said that there is already a feedback and my unit is for replacement already.

I’m planning to go to Robinson’s tomorrow to check if the replacement for my iPhone is now available. Perhaps, if I’ll be able to get it tomorrow, I’ll buy iPhone cases and also ipod accessories for my niece since she’s been asking it for about a month now and she’s starting to get mad at me. LOL!

I just hope that I’ll soon get my iPhone because I miss it already. And also, my mom is also waiting for my iPhone 2G because I promised her that I will give it to her when I got my new phone so I really need to have it back as soon as possible.

Things To Buy

I was talking to my friend yesterday and he told me that he is in need of rv repairs because his dad is asking him to look for a good deal. And so I decided to help him but before that, I tried searching for my own stuffs since I’m also looking for office attires and cardigans.

I checked on oldnavy.com and fortunately, they are on sale. I looked for a pants and I found this brown one. My sister always buys her pants here so I might get this so I can see if this will fit perfectly for me and when it does, I’ll definitely order more in different styles and colors.

Another thing, I was on the look for a nice cardigan. I actually want a plain one that is grey in color but unfortunately I can’t find any. And when I saw these two, I think I like it. I am really fascinated with stripes so I’m also planning to buy these but I still need to check if my size is available and I hope it is.


Oh well, enough shopping for me now because I still need to help my friend.

It Still Hurts

I didn’t know how to react with what I saw on the TV last night. I was actually watching with my mom. They are featuring cancer patients who are in need of help for Mesothelioma lawyer. They seek for care, donations and medical supplies.

While we were watching, I noticed my mom got teary eyed and I exactly know why. Cancer is a very sensitive topic for her since her sister died because of this. It happened 5 years ago but even though we all moved on from this agony, I know that there will be times like this when something will remind you of this pain and at some point, you’ll reminisce about the past and crying is the only way to escape the pain.

Though I know that this will be impossible, I still pray that this Big C will stop threatening everyone’s life and stop taking away the happy lives of people.

Define Vain

Vain is the perfect term for my boyfriend. He is very conscious with his body and that which he can’t really deny.

Every other day, he works out with his friends for a couple of hours. He jogs in the morning and he definitely considers a well planned and balanced diet. He thinks that he’s starting to get fat that’s why sometimes, he even do ab workouts at home when his friends are not available to visit the gym. For now, he is on a low carbs diet. He doesn’t eat much carbohydrates especially rice and for almost every night, he just eats veggies and fruits.

In addition, he’s starting to work on his six-pack now so he does some crunches at times.

Honestly, I can’t really say that he is fat. Maybe he’s just being paranoid sometimes. But what I can say is, he has a body of a model and so all his efforts in working out is really worth it.

Cleanliness is a Must

Since we have another baby at home, my mom always reminds my sister to maintain clean surroundings not only for the sake of the newborn child but also for her daughter and them as well. This will surely help them to have a healthier life as this can be one of the ways to keep them from diseases and infections.

And so, my sister looked for a basement dehumidifier from the internet. Her friend suggested this to her and it has proven to be more effective as it helps in cleaning the place especially where the dusts often occur.

She didn’t hesitate to buy one that’s why he ordered immediately and it will be shipped next two weeks. She already asked my dad to help them install the device so they can use it as soon as they have it and of course my dad will always say yes especially if it is for his grandchildren’s safety.

iPhone 3GS, Havaianas Flip Flops Filipinas Edition, electronic cigarette and Lacoste shoes are my newest things that I have.

I bought myself an iPhone 3GS as my birthday gift to myself. I bought it from my own money that I earned from all my hard works. My havaianas flip flops was a gift from my sister. She knows that I am a collector of this flip flops that’s why she exactly knows what to give me that will surely make me happy. My electronic cigarette is from my boyfriend and even if I’m not really a smoker, I enjoyed using it. And about my Lacoste shoes, it was from my dearest brother.

Of course, I am very happy with all the things that I have. But seriously, even if I don’t have all these perks, I am very much contented because all I ever wanted is a complete family, friends and partner who will love and respect me and I am so glad that I am blessed to have them.

Cebu Pacific is on seat sale again. They offer 50% discount for their flights and the travel period will be on September to October 31, 2010.

I checked on the rate for a round trip ticket to Boracay but I still find it a bit expensive. My friends and I have been spying for a great deal at Cebu Pacific because we are planning to go to Boracay this coming semestral break. Actually the original plan is on March but then one of our friends will have her internship this summer so she won’t be available.

We still haven’t finalized this yet because some of them have a tight budget that’s why we are still waiting for another great promo of Cebu Pacific. We actually hope for a piso fare because this will be a good deal for all of us since we are looking for a cheaper rate.

I hope that this will push through as this will be our first out of town trip and all of us are really looking forward for it.

A Blessing From God

My sister’s second baby is truly another great blessing to our family. Even before my sister gave birth, we were all really excited that we even planned for a small party when the baby boy comes out.

They named their baby boy, Yohann Jacobo Laguerta. He is indeed a healthy and handsome boy and the first time I saw him, I badly want to hug and kiss him because he is so cute and lovely. Good thing he was well taken cared of by her mom when he was still in the womb. I saw how careful my sister was and she took the right prenatal vitamins during her entire pregnancy. She had her regular check up so that her baby will be monitored by her doctor.

Since Jacobo came home, I manage to take care of him sometimes. Even though I’m not totally trained yet in taking care of a newborn child, my mom lets me hold him and she teach me the right things to do.

We are very thankful for this blessing and we pray that he will continue to be healthy as well as to our entire family.

The Day That Was

Yesterday was indeed a very tiring and long day for me. I woke up at around 7:30 in the morning because I need to get ready since I have to accompany my niece to her first day of class in Ballet. Her dad went to his office for an overtime work, my mom and dad went to the doctor for my mom’s executive check up and her mom has to stay home to take care of her son. So in short, I got no choice but to accompany Bela.

Before my mom and dad went to the doctor, they dropped us at Bela’s school. The class started at 9:30 and ended at exactly at 10:30. I asked my boyfriend if he can come with us since we have to go to Robinson’s to buy dress and shoes for Bela for her school activity tomorrow and he agreed and fetch us at school. Since we don’t have a car to use, yaya, Bela, my boyfriend and I decided to take a jeepney going to Robinson’s since it’s just streets away.

When we arrived at Robinson’s, we looked for Bela’s clothes and fortunately, we didn’t have a hard time looking for one. After buying the clothes, B asked me if she can go to the toy store and of course I said yes because even if I said no, she will just keep on insisting it. She bought a toy and then after that, we decided to take our lunch because we are going straight to B’s swimming class at Makati afterwards.

While we are waiting for B’s dad to fetch us, Bela saw the Toys R’ Us exhibit at the mall and she excitedly played around there. I was so tired that I chose to sit instead. Good thing they have patio cushions to sit which made me rest for a while.

Bela’s dad came and we went straight to Makati so we won’t be late for B’s 3:20 swimming class. When we reached her class, we were 10 minutes ahead so B was able to swim and play at the kiddie pool for a while.

The class ended after an hour and before we went home, we dropped at SM San Lazaro to buy Krispy Kreme donuts and Starbucks frappuccino for my sister. We reached home at around 6:30 and I was so dead tired.

Bigger Space

Before my sister gave birth last June 21, 2010, they decided to transfer to the other vacant room in their house since it is bigger compared to the other one where they usually stayed. They needed a bigger space since they have to put their daughter’s bed as well as their son’s crib.

The vacant room was actually the storage for her hubby’s toys. So when they decided to transfer, they moved all the toys to their old room and some were even brought to their house at Bulacan. They asked for some helpers to move their bed, paint the room and put new linoleum on the floor. And since they want to maximize the space, they left the tv and tv stands, desktop computers and closets in their old room.

But then again, Bela demands for a television in their new room because she said that she gets bored when she stays there since she got nothing to left to do. But my sister doesn’t want to follow her daughter’s order so that Bela can no longer watch at night when it is bedtime already.

Animal Lover

My niece Bela is a certified animal lover. Of all the girl kids that I know, she’s the one who plays all day long with her animal toys unlike the other girls who plays with their dolls and toy kitchen set. With Bela, she will line up all her animals and then after a while, you will hear her making fun stories and sometimes, she will name some of her favorites.

Her love for the animals is really obvious with her. In fact, she took care of many kinds of animals already like for instance, birds, fishes, puppies, rabbits and even chicks. She spends time taking care of these by making sure that they have food to eat and water to drink.

But her dream animal is to have her own pony. She will even ask her dad to buy her one and then she will ask her mom to buy breeches from the internet. But of course, both them thought that Bela can’t surely take care of the pony as it needs higher maintenance and it will be a lot costly for them.

I’m sure that Bela will understand this eventually, as she gets older.

People I Love

This is my niece Bela, together with her new pal, her Tito Ronie. Look how busy and serious they are while playing with there iTouch. They are just so adorable. LOL!

Ronie is my boyfriend and ever since Bela met him, she feels so comfortable around him. Every time my boyfriend visits in our house, Bela will always asks for his iTouch and she will ask Ronie to play Pocket God (B’s favorite game) with her.

In the same way, Ronie likes to play with Bela so much and he is very patient with her. Knowing him, I know that he’s not used to take care of kids as he has really short patience with regards to “kulet” kids. But when it comes to Bela, he enjoys taking care of her because he likes the sweet personality of my niece, which is really true. Actually, there are times that B will ask me to tell Ronie to go to our house because she misses playing with him.

Well, I think that they just both like each other’s company that’s why they manage to have fun.

Personal Nurse

When my boyfriend got sick, I was really worried about him. He has a severe stomach ache accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea, fever and headache. I saw how hard it is for him every time the pain triggers and he can’t eat well because he totally doesn’t have an appetite.

When I visited him at his house, I bought him fruits, some biscuits and medicines, and I tried to monitor his fever since it was getting high and low from time to time. After two days, his case didn’t change so I decided to accompany him to the doctor for check up. He had laboratories because the doctor said that he might have a urinary tract infection but fortunately, the results were negative.

His disease lasted for almost one week. He was given medicines and even men's multivitamin by his doctor and he was advised to go on an executive check up to find out the real problem. Good thing that everything was clear and he doesn’t have any serious disease.

I hope that this won’t happen again to him because I hate seeing him like that. Actually, I don’t know what to do with situations like this because I do panic and worry a lot. Of course I don’t want anything bad happen to him.

Feels Like Insomnia

I probably need to consult my dermatologist so I can have some creams for the dark circles under eyes. I think I am an insomniac now for I’m having a hard time to sleep since last month.

These all started when I still had my classes. Since we were doing so many things like thesis and case studies, I always stay up late and wake up early just to finish all the tasks. And as a result, I think that my body got used with my sleeping time so even when I’m on vacation already and got nothing to do, I still sleep late as usual.

I really want a normal sleeping habit but I don’t know how. Every time I go to bed at around 11pm, I won’t be able to sleep but instead I will be knocked dead around 3am - 4:30am.

I can’t cope with this anymore. I’m starting to get sick and I’m getting thinner and thinner because of this. I need help, so if you have any advise, please tell me.

Happiness!

I remember when I watched the Cinderella’s play at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It was actually a charity work and I was sponsored one kid who is a cancer victim.

This was actually an immediate plan because my sister invited me since one of her friends backed out with the sponsorship program because she had a problem with her schedule. And so I decided to take place since I want to help and I also want to watch the play.

It was a great show but our seats were a little too far because my budget is limited and I have to pay for two. Good thing I have my binocular with me, so I was able to see the show clearly.

I’m looking forward to more programs like this. You don’t only enjoy watching the play but you can also extend your help to the needy, which is the best part for me.

Poor Guy

I just had a chat with my friend an hour ago while I was checking for the best diet supplements for my cousin who badly wants to loss some weight. She has some problem regarding with her love life and she opened up with me just for her to release the pain that she’s been going through.

She’s a bit heartbroken because the guy that she’s starting to fall in love with has proven her that he is not worth loving after all. She’s been thinking a lot lately if it is right to get official with the guy. She actually had an odd kind of feeling that the guy was not that serious with her. And then one day, she has proven it and that triggered her to stop whatever she has with the guy. A woman’s instinct is always right.

She feels so frustrated and very down. Seems like she lost her confidence because of what happened. But of course I contradicted her because this will not do any better to her and she will have harder time to move on with the situation.

I don’t feel sorry for my friend but rather, I feel sorry for the guy. He just lost someone who is a very wonderful person and can be loyal and loving to him.

My E-cigar

This is my own electronic cigarette. It was my boyfriend’s gift to me during my 21st birthday last June. I’ve never been a smoker and I never tried it even just for a single puff. And now, maybe you are wondering why I have my own cigarette.

It was actually my boyfriend who got fascinated with this. He bought his electronic cigarette two months ago and I tried using it. It doesn’t have any harmful effects just like the real cigarettes and tobaccos, that’s why I had the guts to try it. And so my boyfriend noticed that I enjoyed using it so he asked me if I want to have one. Of course, I said yes so he surprised me at my birthday.

Ever since I started using it in public, most people are looking at me because they are curious about my cigarette and I also love the different flavors especially the strawberry and chocolate that I often use.

My friends also bought their own since they saw ours. So every time we go out to have coffee, we are all using our electronic cigarettes.

Like and Dislike

Rainy days are starting to occur from time to time. And this means that summer has ended and we have to face the rainy season now.

Honestly, I don’t really enjoy the rain. Maybe when I was a kid, I did enjoy it, but now, I don’t. This is because, it is too hassle to go out when it’s raining and in the situation of our environment today, just a little rain can lead to floods. And this is the worst part for me when it is raining because I experienced a lot of walking through the flood just to get home. And one more thing, during these days, it is really hard to get yourself home as there are lack of transportation happening.

But the good part with this season is when you are in the comfort of your home while the rain is pouring outside with the cold breeze, you can simply enjoy and relax with the cold weather, sleeping all day or sipping a hot chocolate or coffee in front of your Amish fireplace. These are actually the things I do when I am stuck at home because of the heavy rain.

And so, I am expecting that this can happen one of these days so I prefer to have plenty of DVDs to watch so I don’t get bum even if I am totally stuck at home due to my dad’s order. LOL!

I Want It So Bad

I was checking on the internet for some shopping stuffs when I remembered that I have to look for back alarm for my brother’s car.

I tried to look at some sites that sell car tools, accessories and other devices. While I was looking, I also found cars and though I am not that interested with it, I got instantly hooked. Just the fact that there are so many types of cars, makes me want to have my own so bad.

I was so fascinated by one of the Ferrari cars but I know that it is very expensive and even just the Ferrari parts are way too costly for me. And so I thought that this would remain a dream for me. LOL!

But seriously, I really want a car. I don’t need a luxurious one and just a simple car will do for me. Well I guess this will be one of the things that will be in my list as soon as I have my job.

Summer Plans for 2011

Thanks to Cebu Pacific’s Piso Fare! We were able to book a flight to Cebu for a very cheap price.

It was a one-day promo and the booking period was actually scheduled on June 11 but my sister’s friend alerted her through twitter so we decided to check out Cebu Pacific’s site immediately and we found out that that are already accepting reservations day before the schedule. We were able to book 15 tickets for around Php300 each. We were so shocked at how cheap the airfare was that’s why we didn’t hesitate anymore even if we are really aiming for Orlando vacations.

I’m so excited yet I still have to wait for 8 months since we scheduled our trip on the first week of March. This will be my first time in Cebu and of course, I’m always looking forward for the beaches. In addition, I asked my sister if we can go to the sky tower because I really want to try the sky walk that I wasn’t able to do a Macau.

Oh well, I can’t really wait for March. LOL!

Almost Done

Little by little, we’ve been doing a lot of changes in my sister’s house at Bulacan. Since last month, we started the big renovation. We’ve painted new colors for the entire house and we replaced the old furniture to new and modern ones.

Like for instance, we bought new sofa, tables and we asked someone to repair the broken parts of the roofs, ceilings and rooms. We even put new curtains, chandeliers and other available decorations that we found.

In just few weeks from now, maybe we will be about to finish with the whole house. If we will be able to find another free time again, maybe we can visit the house again and continue with the renovation. I think there will be only few little things left to handle to finally have a nice and newly renovated house where we can stay every weekend and relax for just a short time.

I Hope It Works

I’ve been thinking a lot lately regarding some sort of things regarding my relationship with my boyfriend. I can’t say that we are on the rocks but for me, there is a little problem, which I think he is not aware.

He’s been going out with his friends that I don’t personally know very often. They stay in his friend’s house over night while drinking and having fun together. I know that there is nothing wrong with that, but what annoys me is the fact that whenever he asks permission to me if he can go out with his friends, he can’t accept a NO answer. I mean, whenever I won’t allow him, he always gets mad and he will treat me coldly so I’ll just end up allowing him.

And so, I decided to make a new setup. I told him that he can go out whenever he likes without even asking for permission and he won’t be able to hear any rants from me.
Honestly, it’s hard in my part to do this. It’s not that I don’t want him to enjoy his life with his friends’ company but rather, I want to him to set his limitations and boundaries and know when enough is enough.

I hope that he’ll soon realize what I’m trying to imply with this. I don’t want this to be the start of a big quarrel.
