I'm Ready To Work

I was about to look for data center services because my brother asked me to do so. He said that his friend needs it for his business since he wants everything to be secured and protected.

But before doing this errand, I decided to look for a job first. I still don’t have a job since I’m still not ready to work, but then I realize that I need to earn money now so I can help my parents to pay for the expenses.

I submitted my resume to some of the companies through online. Most of the position that I applied for is tech support since I’m a Computer Science graduate and my field of studies is related to this work.

For now, I’m still waiting for someone to reply in my application and schedule me for an exam or interview. I hope that I’ll get one before the end of the month. Wish me luck!

His Rantings

It’s been a while since my boyfriend and I went on shopping. At first, he was hesitant to come with me because he said that I’m only making him carry my shopping bags. So I told him that we are only going to buy small stuffs and he doesn’t have to worry about carrying many paper bags, instead he’ll just have to carry my new shopping bag.

It is made of biodegradable stuff which I really don’t know what exactly is it, LOL! I bought it last week when my mom and I went on a grocery store. The bag says green shopping, so I bought it! With a very reason it has a word “SHOPPING” on it, LOL!

I love shopping, my man knows it that’s why he hates coming with me, because he’s so gentleman that he needs to carry all of my stuff, LOL! In exchange, I give him a big kiss and hug. Guess it was fair enough!

I'm Blessed To Have Him

I was with my boyfriend a while ago and as we were walking on the street going to the mall, he noticed an old, handicap man selling piggy banks. At first we ignored him as we passed by in front of him, but suddenly, he asked me if we could go back because he wants to buy a piggy bank. I thought he was just joking but then I realized that he was serious and we went back even if it was raining so hard and he bought a piggy bank for Php100.

Actually, he really doesn’t want a piggy bank; he just wants to help the man by buying at least one. He felt so much sympathy and he was even teary when he heard the man saying thank you for so many times. He told me that if he could just give him disability insurance, he would have done that because he really doesn’t want to see people like that working hard just to earn money. He thinks that a good and hardworking person like the old man should be taken cared of by his family and should be resting at home and enjoying his life, rather than working on the streets.

This only shows that my man has a good heart. I was really moved with what he did and I look up to people like him. I am really proud of my honey. He is indeed a great man who cares for a lot of people.

Birthday Plans

My brother has been bugging me to help him look for cheap auto insurance for his car. Actually, his car is still insured but the insurance will expire in three months. He doesn’t want to renew it since he is looking for a cheaper one.

But, before I go looking for my brother’s auto insurance, I need to do my own agenda first. I’m in search for a nice restaurant where I can celebrate my birthday with my family and friends.

Actually, the original plan is we will just have dinner at home and I’ll just invite my friends to come over but we thought that we have to prepare food for almost 20 persons and this is quite a big number and it will be a bit hassle for us to prepare our own menu.

So instead, my sister suggested that we all go out in a restaurant and have dinner together so that it won’t be hard for any of us since we don’t have to worry for the food preparations anymore.

I am so excited for my birthday and I hope all my family members and my friends will be able to come.

The Rumor Has It

When I heard about it, at first I don’t bother listening to it because I thought it was just a joke. Days passed by and people around me keep talking about the same thing. So before I crack my head thinking whether it’s true or not, I went to my best friend’s house to ask about these rumors. As I arrived on their house, I saw her cleaning up some tuxedo pants lying on the floor. I approached her and ask her frankly.

I thought my heart leaped off as I heard her answer. My best friend told me that my initial reaction was like I saw a white lady dancing with a chimpanzee. I am really really shocked! Shock would be an understatement if you would ask me what I felt that time. All I can do that time is to hug and congratulate her for her upcoming wedding. She told me that she didn’t tell it to me because she wanted to surprise me. Well guess what? She got more than she could ask for.

Reunion

My friends and I had a small gathering last night in one of the restaurants at Greenhills. My best friend was the one who set up this reunion because she thinks that we all have lots of catching up to do and we were all very happy since everyone invited was present.

We had long chats with each other while chilling out with our food. Most of my friends noticed that I did gain some weight but still I possess a great figure. They really wonder how I manage to maintain my figure even though I eat a lot. That’s one thing that they really envy about me because I can eat all I want without thinking of getting fat and without the need to take the most effective diet pills just to lose weight. Well I explained them that it really runs in our genes and I just have a faster metabolism that’s why I don’t gain weight that much.

Our evening ended with lots of updates about our lives and it was obvious to each one of us how much we miss each other.

Rainy Season Is Here

As what we all observed, there is a sudden change of weather. Rain is starting to pour and does this mean that summer has officially ended? Well I think it is.

Remembering about my school days, rainy season signifies me that classes will soon start because it only means that my summer vacation has ended and back to student life again. I know how it feels knowing that you will soon go back to school and face the homework and paper works again. LOL!

Well, though it’s almost the last two weeks of vacation for most students, I know some are really excited to go back to school. But for me, since I am no longer a student, the end of summer only means one thing to me, I NEED TO LOOK FOR A JOB ALREADY!

My vacation is over and I think that I must start looking for my first job. I hope that I will get one easily.

Can't Wait For Him

My sister is about to give birth in just two or three weeks I guess. Everyone is super excited especially both the parents. In fact they have already shopped for their baby boy so that when he comes out, everything will be ready for him.

Since my sister is almost to her finish line, she’s starting another plans for other treatments. And yes, she already consulted her doctor is she can undergo the best acne treatments that her dermatologist can offer to get rid of her zits. But then, her doctor advised her that she should wait for a couple of months because she will still breastfeed her baby.

Well she has no choice but to follow her doctor because it is just for her baby’s safety. I just hope that my sister will have a safe delivery and I know that God will always guide and be there for her always.

Lesson Learned

Whenever I go shopping for groceries, I always make sure that I’ll do it in a weekday so that there will be lesser people in the market. I really don’t want to pile up in a long queue because it makes me so tired and I feel a bit bored.

I remember there was a time when I did groceries on a weekend with my boyfriend, it took us so long because there were lots of people and the worst part was, the barcode scanner in the counter where we lined up for almost 20 minutes suddenly didn’t work. We decided not to transfer to another counter because we already waited so long and we were about two customers away. So we decided to stay and waited patiently for our turn while the cashier manually encoded the prices.

Since then, I always make sure that I’ll do my groceries on a weekday and as early as possible so that I can avoid waiting for so long.

Birthday Wish List

Exactly 7 days from now, I am turning 21 years old. It’s sad to think that I’ll get older again but of course I am happy that I’ll be given another year to spend with my love ones.

I am so excited to celebrate my birthday. But before anything else, my wish list will never be forgotten. Since I already got one of my wishes for my birthday in advance, which is my iPhone 3GS (but I’ll be the one to pay for this), I thought of something else.

1.LC –This is supposed to be my gift for myself but I don’t think that I’ll be able to buy it now because I already bought a new iPhone.

2.Tory Burch shoes –I just love this that’s why I want to have one.

3.Body Spa –I badly need this to get rid of stress.

4.Sanuk Tube Flops, a pair of Fitflop, Havaianas in yellow with silver metallic logo –These obviously explain how much I love flipflops.


5.Boxes of Royce Nama Chocolates –I’m totally craving for it.

Victims

My friend just told me that he was robbed. While she was having a dinner with her girlfriend in one of the restaurants Tomas Morato, some thieves broke the windows of his car and stole some of his important things like his laptop, radio, shoes and some parts of the car.

He didn’t see how it happened and he only discovered it when they were about to go home. He was so devastated as well as her girlfriend. They went to the police to report about what happened and then he asked his father to pick them up instead.

But the good thing is, they were not hurt that’s why they were still thankful. His car was also insured and he even read about the car insurance blog so that he will have an idea on the benefits and services that he can get with his insurance.

We just hope that this will never happen again to them and either to anyone so I hope that this will serve as a warning for all of us.

Not Feeling So Well

I am totally not feeling well for the whole day. I have cold and I feel so dizzy every time I stand. When I wake up this morning, I was feeling so cold and chilling even though I know that the weather is hot.

I immediately called my mom who was so busy renewing our life insurance. She was alarmed because I was screaming and when she entered my room, she thought that I was making fun at her and she didn’t realize at first that I don’t feel so well. She asked me to go out of my room to eat since it is already lunch time.

And so I told her that I couldn’t get up because I feel so dizzy and when she checked up on me, she discovered that I have a fever. I asked her to cook some noodles for me because I don’t have an appetite to eat rice.

I went back to sleep so I can take a rest again. When I woke up at around 5pm, my mom was beside me, trying to get my temperature and fortunately, my fever went down but still I feel so weak.
