I am so thankful that my surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday was successful. Of course, with the help of his friends, I was able to make the birthday bash possible.
I set up a dinner with my boyfriend’s best friend. I asked him if they could come for a dinner together with their other friends. I sent him a message two weeks before and I was hesitant at first because I know that we were still not that close. But then I thought that I have to do it so I can push through with my plans and fortunately he replied and said that they will come.
Earlier this evening, I went to the mall to make a reservation at the restaurant. My boyfriend still has no idea of what I’m doing and I was able to arrange everything smoothly.
I met up with my boyfriend at around 6:30pm and then we decided to walk for a while and have some shopping (but actually I was waiting for his best friend’s text saying that they are already waiting at the restaurant).
And so, when we reached the restaurant, he was so surprised that his friends were there. I saw the happiness in his face because I know how much he misses his friends and they actually had a small fight last two days and he was sad that his friends were not even greeting him.
But my surprise doesn’t end here. When we were about to finish eating, one of the crews at the restaurant served the cake that I asked them to keep. So again, he was so shocked and he never expected that I could do things like that. He hugged me so tight and thanked me for my sweetness.
I know how much he hates surprises but I’m definitely sure that he’s very happy. I would like to thank his friends again for making this plan a success.
