Big Surprises Come In Small Packages

Last December 30, 2009, my boyfriend and I celebrated our first anniversary. It was a special day for us and we were so excited for that day to finally come.

We had a simple celebration at their house together with some of her relatives. We were supposed to go to the mall but we both agreed to just stay at their house. We watched some DVDs with her sister and cousins the whole afternoon and then we both decided to buy pizza for us.

Right after we eat, he handed me a small box and I was stunned by a moment. I knew that it was a ring but when I opened the box, it was empty. He hugged me and then he got something from his pocket. And there it is, he held my hand and put the ring on my finger.

I almost cried because I didn’t expect that. We both waited for our special day and good thing, it ended so happy and romantic. We were both thank you for we’ve come this far and we are still hoping and praying for more years to come.
