Moving Forward

Two days to go and we are going to celebrate and welcome the year 2010 and as well as say goodbye to the year that was.

This reminds me that I have to start moving forward again and focus more on the things that has to be done including the life insurance rates that I need to check before the year ends and of course, our thesis.

Actually, I’m still not yet ready for 2010 because I know that I’ll be busy again for my school works because few months from now, I will be graduating from college. I’m still not sure if I can handle the works that we have to do but I know that I have no option but to finish everything in order for me to graduate.

In fact, I already promised to myself that I will be more hardworking and I will focus more on the things that I have to do. In addition, I will try my best not to be late and to lessen my shopping expenses and other social activities. LOL!

Restaurant City Update

This is my current restaurant at restaurant city.


Ever since I started playing this, I really enjoyed it and as time goes by, I got hooked to it even more. Actually, this is the only facebook game that I managed to sustain up to now. I also have accounts to some games but I’m not playing with it anymore.

I am now in level 33 and I have upgraded so many things in my restaurant. I still want to design my restaurant but of course I still need to wait to accumulate more points. Actually, I was looking if they have kitchen faucets because it will serve as another decoration.

This game is really fun and indeed it helps improve my patience and creativity as well. We all know that it takes a lot of time to step up to the next level but I’m still willing to wait because if not, I won’t have a beautiful restaurant just like what I have right now.

Food + Family + Gifts + Love = Happiness

Those are the words that will describe our Christmas.It was indeed a very happy Christmas for us. Everyone in our family is present including the ones who live far from us.





We ordered our foods from CCME to be more convenient for us especially to my aunt who does all the cooking. We had Morcon, Lengua in Salsa Blance, Chicken Lollipop, Lechon Kawali, Fish with Mayo, Paella and my aunt’s specialty Fruit Salad and Baked Macaroni with lots and lots of melted cheese.

We enjoyed the food that’s why we can’t stop eating. At times, we will just rest for a while and when we got nothing to do, we end up eating again. My mom even joked on us and told us that we need natural appetite suppressant because we can’t control ourselves to stop. We just love all the food and we were even craving for more the next day but unfortunately, there were no foods left.

Sad to say that we were not able to take pictures of our food. I just hope that all of you had a merry, merry Christmas.

Free Time To Do Anything

Today is my free time. Well, not literally free that I won’t do anything. What I mean is that, I’m free today, I don’t have somewhere to go and I will just stay here in our house to go online in my Facebook, Plurk and blog. LOL!

Well actually, I also have something to do that somehow can’t wait. I was asked by my friend to help her find an Oklahoma attorney because they badly need it now since they are being questioned by the government their about their citizenship.

But right after I’m done doing the favor, I will focus on the preparation for the Christmas Party with my friends tomorrow night. Actually, we are very excited because we will be seeing each other again and we will be able to have some time together.

We all agreed to have a potluck and I decided to bring barbecue and they asked me to bring our chocolate fountain.

So I think, we don’t have any problems anymore with the foods and we just have to arrange the venue.

Stuffs To Work On

I still have a lot of things to do. I still have to look for short term health insurance NC since my parents want to make sure of our security and protection. I still need to wrap some gifts for Christmas and the most important thing is I still need to rest.

This week will be a busy week for me since I just started my vacation yesterday and I only have limited time before Christmas. Actually, I was supposed to sleep early today because I had a commitment with my sister that we will go to mall tomorrow morning so we can go home at least before dinner. But then, I want to start finishing my works so that I can give updates to my friends and relatives because for sure, I will not be able to go online so often this week since I will be focusing on Christmas stuffs.

So I guess, I just need to stop typing now and shut down my laptop so I can finally sleep because I really have to wake up early.

True Love

Love is not a maybe thing. You know when you love someone.

Love is not just a thing that everyone wants to have. It is a serious thing and God’s gift to us humans that we need to share with one another. Love is sacred that’s why we have to love, give love and never expect it back in return.

But why is it that someone has to cry whenever they give love to others? They shed tears that can be because of heartaches, sorrow, pain and even joy. Why can’t we just simply give love without hurting anyone or even ourselves?

There are some instances that we have to consider a lot of things in giving love. Especially when it comes to two people who are beginning to fall in love with each other. We just have to make sure that we truly love the person before making him or her believe because once he or she sticks with the words that we speak and we are not really sure about it, chances are that we might hurt them.

We should always remember that moving on is not that easy even though it is the best thing to escape the pain. But then we also need to accept that there are just some people that we will never get over because for once in our life, they became a part of us.

Trying To Learn More

My brother has graduated many years ago as an Engineer. He worked for a couple of years in different companies with his degree. While he is working, he runs a business of its own which is why after some time and after his experiences with his works, he just decided to focus on his business.

Currently, he’s still running his business for years now. He realized that he performs well in doing his own business instead of working in an office. And this is the reason why he wants to enroll in an online business degree. He wants to lean more on how to manage a business well and how to handle and face the different pitfalls or risks that he may encounter.

He seriously wants to take an online degree because he thinks that this can be more convenient for him since he’s fully focused on his business. He thinks that this is more reliable because he doesn’t need to go to school for studying business.

Well I hope that he will be able to accomplish this new stuff. I know that he can do a lot better on his work after he takes this new degree.

Graduation Gift

Just about for months from now, I will soon be marching for our graduation with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Studies Major in Computer Science. This is what my classmates and I are aiming for. Our mindset is to graduate this coming 2010.

But then, we all know that we still have to pass trough so many trials like what we are facing now as fourth year students. It’s really hard to attain the standards of the school and our professors that’s why we are very pressured now. Just the thought of doing the thesis and defending them to our panels, makes us really nervous but still willing to fight to attain our goal.

And since my family knows what hardships I am going through right now, they really show their support. In fact, they already offered me jamaica vacations as a graduation gift for me that I will enjoy surely.

Well I just hope that we can all make it until the end. We just need to work harder and be more motivated to reach our common goal.

For Her Safety

My sister has been problematic because ever since she stopped drinking her pills, she started to have her pimples again, plus the fact that she stays in the wee hours of night that makes her more prone to pimples.

She’s actually planning now to have acne treatment but my mom advised her not to because she’s pregnant. My mom said that it might harm her condition if she undergoes treatment because of the medicines that will be used to control and medicate her acne.

My mom also adds that she just have to ignore it for now because for sure it will heal eventually since she will not going to have her period for a very long time. This can be true because girls’ monthly period really causes acne.

And so for now, my sister has no choice but to follow what my mom said. After all, it is for her own sake and as well as for her baby to be healthy.

Our Dear Teacher

I was out with my friends a while ago. We were at the mall the whole afternoon and we just spent our day shopping and talking things over about our daily happenings.

While we were at the coffee bar, we spotted our former teacher back in our high school days. At first, we were hesitant to approach her because she was doing something and so we thought that she was busy. So we just waited for a while and then, she saw us.

She asked us to transfer in her table since she’s alone. We had a little chat with her and we found out that he already retired from teaching. She told us the whole story behind and actually; she was arranging her papers because she will file her disability appeal for her insurance.

We feel a bit sorry for her because we know how much she loves teaching. But because of her personal disability, she really needs to stop and instead focus on herself and have time to rest and relax.

Well I guess it’s really time for her to enjoy her perks. We just wish her good luck and we hope she gets well.

The Preparations

My sister is in her third month with her second baby. Everyone in the family is indeed very excited as a new baby is coming very soon.

Time runs so fast that as early as now, we are starting to prepare for the birth of my sister’s second baby. Though we still don’t know if the baby is a boy or girl, still, we are very eager to do some preparations.

Actually, my cousin is starting to look for a nice layout for a card for the birth announcements. We know it is too early to do such things but you can’t blame us, every time a new baby is coming, we are all very excited and we always want to plan things ahead of time. We avoid cramming because we want everything to be perfect and extra special.

Six months is not too long. At times, we don’t realize how time really flies that’s why for us, it is always the best to do things earlier.

Bazaar at SMX

Yesterday, my sister asked me if I want to go with them because they planned to go to SMX at SM Mall of Asia to check out the bazaar. Since I also need to finish my shopping for Christmas, I decided to go with them though I know that I still have a lot of duties to make for school.

We arrived there at around 4pm. It was the last day of the bazaar which is why there were so many people doing there shopping since the items there like clothes, shoes, gadgets such as cameras and ipods are at their very low prices. Some are even half of their original price.

My sister was able to buy two dresses for her and for her daughter. We were also able to buy Melissa shoes but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy clothes for Christmas that’s why I still need to go to the mall again.

It was a very long and tiring day for us. Though I wasn’t able to buy my clothes, I was able to buy gifts for my cousins. Maybe next week,, I will go to Greenhills to buy my own loots.

A Very Long And Tiring Day

Earlier this afternoon, I decided to go shopping with my friends at Greenhills. Actually, last week, we all agreed that we will go shopping on weekdays so that we can avoid many people who are also shopping for Christmas but then, we can’t find time during weekdays so we decided to go for a Saturday.

We arrived there at around 2pm and just as we entered the shopping mall; we already saw a lot of shoppers. At first, we were hesitant to go but since we were already there, we just decided to try it.

So we started our shopping right away and it was so hassle and there were always long queues as we expected. I think we shopped until 8 in the evening and right after that, we agreed to have our dinner but then, by the time that we were going to our favorite restaurant, we had a hard time looking for the right way because we were somehow lost because of the people piled up in the place. Good thing that we saw the exit signs and it indeed helped us a lot.

Right after we arrived at the restaurant, we immediately placed our orders and then we rested for a moment while we were waiting for our food.
