I Need a New Option

We’ve been experiencing a lot of rainy days for the past weeks and it’s been a big disturbance to many people. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who encountered problems due to this incident.

Our cable signal had a problem because of the rains and it is very irritating because I only have limited options to watch. I’ve been calling the cable service but then again, they didn’t respond to my claim.

Just this morning, I decided to ask my mom to just cut off our cable since they don’t have good service. So instead of waiting to their response, I decided to look for Direct TV Business who has a greater service and fortunately I found one.

I have already suggested this to my mom and she agreed that we will have this Commercial Direct TV instead of the present one that we have. She thought that this is much better since this is not the first time that we encountered problems with our cable service and every time we claim to them, they just ignored it and we don’t have any option but to wait for about 2-3 weeks.

Well hopefully, this DirectTV Business that we are planning to have will be a lot better and I am looking forward for their good service that will satisfy our requirements.

I Miss You Twin

After getting hooked up with Grey’s Anatomy and Gossip Girl, currently I’m starting to get addicted to a new series entitled “The Hills”. I’ve watched the first season and I find the story really interesting especially the thing about friendship.

I can somehow relate in this story because the two girls in the story who’s been best friends for so long just suddenly became enemies because one of the girls named Lauren cannot accept the fact that her best friend Heidi chose her boyfriend over her. And Lauren dislikes Heidi’s boyfriend because she witnessed how bad the guy is.

This is the exact same thing that happened to me and my best friend. We’ve been great friends for almost 15 years and when she met her boyfriend, things suddenly changed. She barely talks to me. We had lots of misunderstandings and she didn’t even realize that. She doesn’t want to admit that she did something wrong not only to me but to our other friends though she knows exactly what she did. She completely abandoned me yet I tried to understand her. I still stayed as her best friend though she’s not giving me any worth.

It sucks to say that my best friend for 15 years has becoming a complete stranger to me. I am completely honest that I’ve been trying to avoid her but in the end; I just can’t because she’s a part of me. Nevertheless, I still want to see her and spend time with her. I know we need to catch up with so many things but I don’t know where to start. I just miss my best friend.

I'm Turning 20

I must admit, I’ve been very busy for the past couple of days because I’m trying to think of some plans for my birthday. Yes, you’ve read it right. Though it’s still weeks away, I’m starting to gather ideas on how I will celebrate it with my family, friends and boyfriend.

Well anyway, it is always been my dream to experience cruises. There was even a time wherein I wish to have a nice cruise with my family and friends during my birthday. It’s just that, I want to travel to different places with them and share every moment and make my birthday extra special.

I don’t know if this will happen. For now, it still remains as a wish and I’m looking forward for this. I know someday it will turn out to be in reality and in that time, for sure, I will have the best birthday ever.

So now, I think I need to set aside this thing first and focus on my plans because at exactly two weeks from now, I’ll be turning twenty.

Things Can Wait

Ever since my sister got married, she really invested a lot for their house especially when it comes to their furniture. Of course, they started little by little and I can say that they were extra careful regarding to their choice of things in their house.
They always want the best quality that is why, they never think twice even if they spend big amounts of money because they believe that it does have a good worth that will last long.

Then again, there is one thing that my sister has been drooling for so long. She wants to have an LCD TV that has a wide screen that she thinks will be perfect for movies and other entertainment. Well, I definitely agree with her because I too also want that tv. LOL!

But apparently, she’s setting aside this for now because we all know how much it costs. And since they already have a daughter, they are giving her much focus now. She’s the top of their priorities since their daughter is currently studying and of course, they always want the best for her.

Barkada Trip

The “Irresistible Baguio” is here again. Camp John Hay is offering a 50% off from their room rates this coming June 15, 2009 until September 30, 2009. This promo runs every year and that is the reason why many people await for it.

Last year, we were able to avail this promo when we went to Baguio with my family. We stayed there for three days and two nights and we really enjoyed our stay there because of their great services and of course our whole visit in Baguio.

This gives me an idea for our barkada trip. As early as now, we are planning an outing this coming August since it is also the birthday of one of our friends. I am thinking if this can be a great option for us, after all, this is very affordable and very worth it.

Oh well, I still have to talk this over to the rest of my friends and I know that they will surely love this and they might go for this. LOL!

My Love for Flats

Just this afternoon, I was busy doing some online shopping because I was looking for some clothes and slippers that I can buy for my birthday, and then I remembered visiting Jildor which is a perfect online store for ladies shoes.

As I was looking for something to buy, I really got fascinated with the styles that they offer especially the tory burch reva. Actually, even before, I was really planning to buy one of that but then again, I can’t find a nice design. But when I checked the site, I found a very simple design that I really like.

But not only that, I also tried to look some juicy couture flats since I always go for this kind of shoes because for me, it is very comfortable to wear especially when you are going for a long walk at the mall or even somewhere else. This has been one of my alternatives for sneakers as well as flip-flops.


In addition, I also found steve madden flats and they have styles that I want for my everyday use in going to school. Its style is simple but still looks posh for me and I think I’m going to order that already. But for the other shoes, I’m still thinking about it because I still have other important things to buy.

Last Summer Outing

Just this afternoon, I accidentally saw my friend together with his girlfriend. Actually, it’s been a while since we last saw each other and I wasn’t able to attend his birthday that’s why we were really happy the moment we saw each other.

We then decided to eat our dinner and talk for the whole time that we were together. And then all of a sudden, he instantly made a plan to go swimming with the rest of our friends. He suggested having it on next Friday and I was a bit surprised since it is just a week from now and we don’t have enough time to prepare.

We actually think of going to Amana Waterpark located at Pandi Bulacan. It is the newest resort at Bulacan which has the biggest wave pool as of now. I already check their other amenities such as their rooms because we are planning to have an overnight stay. I also looked at their services and as well as the surroundings and I was a bit fascinated with their facilities such as the patio furniture.

Oh well, I’m really looking forward to this because another school year is about to start which means that we will be busy again and this is the perfect time to hang out anew.

I was supposed to look for term life insurance companies but apparently, I changed my mind because I suddenly thought of my brother’s upcoming wedding.

I am one of the bride’s maids of honor and in preparation to that; obviously I have to look for a design for my gown. I know it is still a bit early since the wedding will be n 2010 but then again, due to my eagerness and excitement, I started searching for my gown’s design. LOL!

I love the style of this gown but I don’t think that it will still look classy if I make it a bit longer. I really find this cute and posh yet simple but I still have to ask an approval about this.

This looks like more of a cocktail dress that’s why I’m not sure if this will fit for a wedding. But I so love the bubble style of this dress. It’s very fashionable and looks elegant.

As of now, these are just some of the styles I was able to research. There are still many things in my mind, and I will try to find it from the net.

I'm Done With My OJT!!

At last, I just finished my 240 hours of work for my OJT last Friday. I am very much happy because I will now have time to enjoy my summer vacation even just for a short period of time. For one month, I’ve been very busy working at 10.5 hours a day which really stressed me out that I can’t find time to go online or even hang out and go shopping with my family and friends.

Since I’m done with my office works, I’m planning to do some stuffs before another school year begins but first, I still have to complete my papers for my OJT like my activity report and my certificate of completion signed by my supervisor.

Unfortunately, I can’t process them for now because my boss is still on her business trip and I have to wait for few more days before I can visit her at the office.

After working on my papers, I made a list of my plans that I want to do before vacation ends. And here is my list;

-Hang out with my friends, perhaps at Tagaytay
-Plan our family outing
-Go shopping
-Have a body massage or spa
-Visit the salon for my hair treatment
-Visit my dentist for oral cleaning
-Prepare for my enrollment
-Look for companies for our thesis
-Have more posts in my blogs

These are just some of my plans and I hope that I will be able to finish them all.

Mom's Dream

My mom really loves plants and flowers. She loves taking care of them and even decorating and arranging them in her own unique style. That’s why, she dreams to have a small garden but then our place where we live now doesn’t have a good and enough space for a garden.

But due to my mom’s deep passion and eagerness, he asked my dad to vacate the small portion of our garage so she can put some of her Decorative Planters that she made. Of course, even a single Planter is full of different kinds of flowers that were arranged by my mom.

Even inside our house, she put flowers on some areas like in our living room and dining room. She bought some Indoor Planters which is definitely nice and elegant. It definitely adds beauty to our house and we really love the styles. And even our visitors notice them whenever they go to our house.

Actually, some of our visitors asked my mom on where she buys the Indoor Planter that she’s using because they find it very nice, attractive and perfect for house decorations.

Indeed these Planters helped my mom to enjoy her passion. Ever since she discovered these, she gave more effort in handling and decorating the plants. In this way, it somehow suffices my mom’s great interest in this field.

Good Luck My Friend

Before the summer ends, I and my friends are planning to hang out together since we will all be busy again for another school year. But not only that, it will also be like a farewell party for one of our friends who will be moving to Cebu perhaps at the end of the month of May.

She will continue her studies there since their whole family is permanently living at Cebu and also their family business is ongoing there. Actually, she really doesn’t want to come because she prefer to finish her studies here in Manila but then her father insisted that’s why she doesn’t have any choice but to agree.

So in preparation for their plans, they are now looking for moving quote since they don’t want to spend a great deal of money just for transferring their things. In fact, they are even considering the option if they can do it on their own but they think that it will be a lot harder for them and it is obviously time consuming that’s why they really just want to push through with budget van lines.

As of now, I think they are now booked with some moving companies and they are now starting to pack their things that will be transferred to Cebu. I know the budget van lines will be a great help for them. But I’m not sure about the exact date that they will be moving.

Oh well, for sure, we will miss our friend. I just hope that she will be able to enjoy her stay there with her family.

Gadget Galore

I’ve been so attached with gadgets for the past years. I do have the latest cell phone models and even before, I have my PSP but eventually, I sold it in exchange of iPod. I think that’s the worst decision I made. LOL!

I really got addicted to fighting games during that time. In fact, during my free time at school, I and my other classmates are busy playing those games. No one can really bother us because once we start the game; we get really serious and much focused with our play. And after the match, the losers will be the one who will treat the winners for a free lunch or snack. And that is how we play!

But later on, since I don’t have my PSP anymore, I got hooked with Nintendo DS. I’ve been using my cousin’s DS and I find it very enjoying. That is why, I’m quite thinking now if I should buy one for myself so I don’t have to borrow from the kids anymore. LOL!

Then again, I guess I still have to check my budget for this.

Wordless Wednesday no. 23 - Classic Style of Lomo Camera

My Initial List

As I have mentioned on my previous post, my birthday is just a month away. Of course, every time I celebrate my birthday, I always have my wish list with me but I don’t really expect that I will be able to get all of them.

Well anyway, as a present to myself, I would like to buy new bags for school or even for my everyday use or for casual wears. But I still don’t know what type of bag to buy although I always want to have big bags for errands and for the things that I usually carry wherever I go.

Second in my list are shoes. I noticed that majority of my footwear are flip flops and sandals that’s why I want to buy more rubber shoes so I can have replacement for my old ones. I definitely need this whenever I go for a long walk because it feels more comfortable.

Next on my list are slippers. Though I already have dozens of slippers, I still want to buy more of it since it is my collection for the past year. But then again, whenever I use slippers, I’m having a hard time to decide which one to wear given that I have many choices. LOL!

Oh well, more wishes are coming up. Just wait and I’ll post the updates here. LOL!

The Battle Against...

It’s been said that cancers are never that easy to cure. Once it strikes you, it’s hard for you to escape the twinge that it brings. Little by little, it will kill your body system so no matter how hard you try to be strong, the cancer itself will take away your strength and at the end, you can’t do anything but to surrender yourself.

But then again, there are some victims wherein regardless of the painful treatment and other excruciating feeling that they are going through, they still remain fearless and courageous in fighting the battle.

These are the traits that I can see from former President Corazon Aquino who is currently struggling against colon cancer. I think her doctors are doing well for her speedy recovery and indeed, the prayers are becoming a big part of her improvement. Good thing she has good doctors who monitor her every now and them and great family who continuously take care of her. Maybe her doctors found the best colon cleanse which definitely helps for her treatment.

Let’s just continue to pray for her continuous recuperation. We all know how great she is and she truly deserves to pass through this battle.

It's Our Night

As part of our family bonding, every week, I, my siblings and other cousins usually get together to have our poker night. We stay at one house while playing and jamming with the music being played all through the night. This has become part of our pastime every weekend which we really enjoy the most.

Ever since we played this game, we get more and more interested and fascinated. But we are only doing this for fun and not because of the money involved. But then again, from the time when my cousins found out the idea of PokerStars Bonus, they are starting to think of trying it.
