Bitterness of Time

I never thought that this would happen in a simple snap. The happiness suddenly turns into sorrow. Amidst in the quietness of time, sweetness turns into bitterness and all you can do is accept it.

Though how hard you try to escape the pain, you just simply can’t bear it because just the thought of being hurt is too much to handle. Though how hard you try to search for answers, all you can find is a four letter word that spells P-A-I-N. Though how much you are willing to understand it, you just simply can’t because the situation won’t allow you.

It hurts to be in this kind of situation. I’m puzzled, broken, misunderstood and don’t even know what to do. I don’t want to let go because I must not let go. But it seems like the uncertainties are continuously giving me reasons to stop the battle. I’m weak with this kind of situation. My heart is crashing whenever I’m drowning myself with tears that don’t even want to fall.

I thought that everything is different, but I guess everything was just a mere expectation. No matter how much I try to be strong, it seems that all I want to do is SURRENDER. For now, I just want to be INVISIBLE.

From Long to Short Hair

Before (Long hair)

After (Short hair)

Just last two years, I decided to have my hair straightened. Actually, my mom doesn’t want me to have it because she said that I don’t need that since my hair is already straight. But then I got curious as to what will happen to my hair so I still tried it.

During the first months, it went well. My hair looks beautiful and very straight just like what I have expected. But months later, it turns out to worst. The burned hair suddenly showed up and the strands became brittle that it easily breaks. My hair was definitely damaged that’s why I decided to have a short hair cut.

And yes, that is the reason why I decided to cut my long hair. My mom advised me to have natural treatment just like the coconut oil so that I won’t have to undergo hair loss treatment.

After few months of treatment, my hair is becoming stronger. I’m so thankful that I was able to save it. Now, I’ve decided that I will never ever try to have my hair straightened, relaxed or rebonded.

New Project

My dad is on a mission today. My sister owns an apartment and now they are renovating it and my dad is the one supervising it. They decided to do some house repairs since one of their tenants moved out last month and they find it perfect to do some adjusting and repair.

They started the work yesterday and it is so good to see that they are working fast. They are almost done with the major repairs such as the replacement of roofs and repainting of ceilings and walls. By tomorrow, they will start to have the little details of the renovation such as the cleaning of the furniture, replacement of old light bulbs to new ones and as well as replacement of door knobs and locks.

After the renovation, they are planning to implement at least 10% increase on their rental for the new tenants since they made changes on their apartment and it has therefore a lot of improvements. Well, I’m sure that they will enjoy their stay there.

Hopeless

As what we all know, our country is still in the state of global recession. The productivity of our economy is continuously going down which causes more problems involving poverty and unemployment that results from financial crisis to many families and individuals.

In this regard, my parents are starting to save money by investing and starting our own business to earn extra income that can help us to be assured of our future. In addition, they also want to buy term life insurance so we can have support if ever we experience some circumstances that will affect our living.

For me, this is a great option for our family. But then again, I realized that not all people can grab this opportunity. Not everybody can afford to start their own business to support their living. If only our government can make a change for our country’s situation, for sure, these problems can be solved easily and people will have a better life, as well as, we can have a good country.

For My Mom's Birthday

It’s been a week since I had my last post. I have to apologize for not updating my blogs since I had an important thing regarding my studies that I had to arrange. Plus, I’ve been out for almost four days because last March 21-22, our family went to Blue Coral beach resort at Batangas to celebrate my dad’s birthday and then on March 23-24, my college friends went on an outing at Sun City resort at Laguna.

It’s been a great week for me though I’m facing a certain problem right now. I was able to relax and start my summer at the beach which is a very good thing for me. Furthermore, our family was able to spend quality time together which we really seldom do.

And now that we’re done with our first plan with this summer, we are now preparing for our next trip and I think it will be for my mom’s birthday celebration. My bother in law suggested going to Camarines Sur and staying there for one day and then after that, we will go straight to Bicol. I don’t know if they still going to push through with this but I’m hoping that they will because I really want to visit Camarines Sur.

But aside from this out of town trip, I and my sister are planning to buy something for my mom. Since she loves jewelries and other accessories, we are thinking to give her white gold rings for her birthday. But we are still a bit undecided since we still don’t have enough budgets for these. Maybe we’ll just ask my our brother if he can give a share for my mom’s present.

Undecided

Your Life is 40% Off Track

In general, your life is going very well.

You're quite happy with where you are and what you're doing.

And even if you get a bit off course, you're usually able to get back on track easily.

Keeping the Hard Work

My friend has been having some troubles with regards to his studies. Their family is currently facing a financial crisis that’s why he needs to stop from studying first and instead work to help his parents financially. Though it’s not that okay with him, he thinks that he doesn’t have any choice but to follow his parents.

Fortunately, one of his classmates, who is an ultrasound tech, encourage him to take short courses about this job since there are many hospitals who are currently looking for people who has great knowledge regarding this matter.

He got interested but then again he hesitated since his parents wants him to stop from studying for the meantime so he can work. But then he still decided to push through with this because of his eagerness to finish his course and as well as help and support his family. While he was working on one of the fast food chains, he inquired to some ultrasound technician schools about the following requirements he needs. He worked hard to earn the tuition fee that he needs in order to take up the course.

He then became a working student for almost three and as soon as he finished the short course that he took for ultrasound technician, he immediately looked for a job that will help him earn more money. He was very fortunate and was able to work on one of the hospitals in Manila. He really did well in his school that’s why he was able to find a job easily.

And now, he’s saving money because he is still planning to continue his unfinished course so that he can have a better work which will definitely help their family. He’s really hoping that he can finally go back to school and study again for his own good.

Back to School

It’s been years since my brother entered the business world and for those years, I’ve seen his deep passion when it comes to running his own business. He started with nothing and now, he’s current business is continuously growing.

Actually, he wants to open a new business with his fiancĂ©. I still don’t what exactly they want to franchise but I think they are planning to push through with this after they got married. For now, they are still trying to study the benefits as well as the pros and cons of their soon to be business.

Maybe, this is the main reason why my brother wants to go back to school. He actually wants to have a business degree so that he will be able to manipulate his works easily in an organized manner. He wants to take this up so that he can broaden his knowledge when it comes to this notion.

As of now, he’s currently looking for a university that will help him in his business degree. I hope that he will be able to find one for I know that this will be a great help to improve his skills for the career that he chose.

No Updates

I just got back from my busy schedule at school. Obviously, I wasn’t able to update my blogs because of the finals week. But now that the exams are over, I now have little time to go online and finish my pending tasks but I still have to go to school to get my class cards.

In just a few days, classes will be formally over for some, but for me, I might not have a long summer vacation because I still have to complete my On the Job Training course as part of our school curriculum. We are required to work for 240 hours which means that I have to be on my OJT for one month.

Honestly, I still haven’t found certain companies that will able accept me for my OJT. I’m still not working on my requirements since I’ve been so busy for the past weeks but now, I’m planning to start completing my requirements so I can finally submit them to different companies.

I hope that I will be able to find a good work or opportunity that will help me finish my OJT. I know that this will be the first step to introduce myself into business society or most preferably, the IT world.

A Lesson

Ever since my friend introduced some online games to me, I really got hooked and addicted with it. I spent long hours of playing and I even stay until the wee hours just to finish the games.

During my vacation, I decided to reformat my laptop so I can install new applications and as well as update some of my programs. Since my computer memory had enough space for more applications, I got so excited installing my games. I installed as many games as I my memory can handle. And since my computer was newly reformatted, I forgot to install an anti-virus system that will enable to track viruses that may enter my computer. Because of this, my computer got infected because of some of the things that I downloaded for my games.

Unfortunately, after I had finished installing new programs and applications in my computer, I didn’t have a choice but to reformat it again. After I did that thing again, the first thing I did is to install and update my anti-virus.

This really served as a lesson for me. LOL!

The Final Set

March 7, 2009, at 8:00 PM at the SM Mall of Asia, "The Final Set” of Eraserheads was held successfully. Fortunately, I was one of the thousands of people who were very excited to see them once more and witness another history of this famous band. I still can’t believe that it did happen again and I was there and merely became part of the said history.

As the countdown of letters started, people kept on screaming, waiting for the band members to start singing. As they went out of the stage, the spirit of every people became livelier and I can honestly feel the deep excitement of each and everyone.

They sang about 27 songs and the band members even paid tribute for the late Francis M who became their close friend. I can see that even the crowd is jumping in happiness; Eraserheads can’t help but grieve for their friend. But surely, the overflowing joy of every crowd overwhelmed the band members which somehow ease the pain that they are feeling for the death of Francis M.

Anyway, for me, the best part of the concert is the very last part wherein they sang three additional songs which are not included anymore in their set lists. It happened when Raimund Marasigan came back on the stage and called for his other band members and they all called the people (and we are actually on our way out of the venue) as they will sing again. Many people came back running because we all thought that the show was over since they already bid goodbye and even the fireworks were done. I think they did that to satisfy the audience and make up with the incident that happened in their first reunion concert.

I’m just very happy that I was able to watch it. I hope there will be next time for this.

The Reception

I just got a little update with my brother’s upcoming wedding. They already have reservations for their church which is the Caleruega as well as the venue for their reception which is the Sonya’s Garden. Their wedding date which was supposed to be on April 3, 2010 was unfortunately moved to April 4, 2010 due to some conflicts on the celebration of Holy Week.

As I have said, they chose Sonya’s Garden for their reception as this is actually the best advice given to them by our cousin who will take over the overall design of the church and reception. Our cousin highly recommended this place that’s why they didn’t hesitate to decide and stick with Sonya’s Garden.

We’ve been at Sonya’s just last month to finalize the bookings and reservations. I myself was fascinated by the place and I immediately thought that our cousin is definitely right because the place is just perfect for wedding. The furniture all over the place embellished the surroundings which make it more relaxing and refreshing.

I think they definitely made a good choice regarding this matter. I can already visualize the settings of their wedding and I can’t wait to see it for real.

Outreach Program

As part of the different agendas of our school organization, we aim for doing an outreach program to children who can’t go to school because of financial problems. Our objective is to conduct a student teaching and be able to help the children to be more aware of the things that they have to do and what they don’t have to do with their everyday lives.

We are planning to start this project right after the end of the semester. In this way, we will be able to have more time in participating and be able to focus more with our objectives. We are targeting children between 7-12 years of age.

Aside from student teaching, of course we already planned to provide them nutritional health supplements and extend our help financially especially to those people who are really in need. We allotted enough budgets for these so we are hoping that we will be able to grant them even a little help.

I’m really looking forward to be part of this project. I hope that this will serve as the start of few changes and we are actually hoping that we can inspire other people to do the same way to their fellow citizens.

Shopping with Gayle

I haven’t visiting the mall some time now. I’ve been so busy since the end of semester is about to end so we have to make up with our subjects and finish our requirements. We were done with our entire defense in all of our subjects and now we have to deal with our final examinations which already started yesterday.

Then again, I was able to go to the mall a while ago. My friend texted me to ask if I can accompany her to buy wholesale apparel which her mom favored her. And since I finished my exam earlier, I decided to go with her and she promised that we will go home early because she knows that I have to review for my exam tom.

We went to tiangges at Tutuban Center Mall as we were looking for wholesale things particularly wholesale jewelry. We decided to go there because we know that the items there are way cheaper than the items at the mall. And so, as we were looking around the stalls, we finally found what we were looking for. We were able to purchase it at the lowest price that we expected.

Thank God we didn’t have a hard time looking for our shopping items. We were able to go home before 5 PM which is just enough for me to take some rest first before reviewing.

Journey to his Master

March 7, 2009, very sad and shocking news broke the silence and many Filipinos. I know everybody’s aware that our Master Rapper passed away. I got this news from my classmate who forwarded a message that Francis M died around 12 noon.

We all know how Francis loved our country. He touched many people’s lives and he indeed became an inspiration especially in the music industry through his words, songs and actions. He became a pillar not just to his family and close friends, but also to those people who came across his life. He has helped a lot of people that’s why there is no doubt that our country has lost a great man and there is no wonder why there are many people who continuously show their sympathy. He was indeed a mentor of many rappers nowadays that’s why, these people promised to continue his legacy.

Though we’ve lost a friend, idol, teacher or brother, his memories will always remain in each and everyone. In the quietness of time, he will surely live forever. He will be missed by many people for a man like him doesn’t deserve to be forgotten.

Our master rapper has finally come home to meet his Master.

Rest in Peace Francis M.

Family Trip

Finally, we are all set for my dad’s birthday celebration. My sister already found great travel deals which made her decide to choose it. She already made a reservation for March 21-22 at Blue Coral Beach Resort at Laiya, Batangas. She booked an air conditioned room which can accommodate 4-8 persons for only Php5, 800. It is really way too cheaper than the other resorts that we saw.

As we looked at the picture, the resort looks nice and their facilities are great and very accommodating. They offer different services and they also have swimming pool which I prefer most. I’m sure my niece will love it. I think they just finished the renovation of their resort so I guess that we will be expecting more of it.

I’m pretty excited with this. This will be my first outing trip for this summer that’s why I really can’t wait to prepare my things and hit the beach. I hope that we can enjoy this family trip for my dad’s birthday celebration.

Teenagers Today

There was one episode of Reporter’s Notebook in GMA 7 that really caught my attention. It was all about a particular group of teenagers who are out of school youth and under the influence of drugs and alcohols.

Actually, I am used with this kind of topic, but then, this case is merely different from the other cases of drug addictions that I know. In here, they featured the everyday lives of the teenagers. They’ve come from different families and some of them are actually abandoned by their parents.

Almost every day, they drink alcohols until the wee hours of night and they never go to school. They share everything that they have up to the point that even their girlfriends are being shared by many men. Every night, they do a lot of uncertain things which I know, can exactly ruin their lives in just a simple snap.

Due to the influence of drugs and alcohols, there were times that they do crimes without even thinking about the odds that it may cause them. At times, most of their victims are women. They abuse them, rape them and worst, kill these innocent women.

A lot of things that they did are simply because of addiction. Indeed, they lack guidance from their parents, right education and proper attention. In this case, they badly need drug addiction help to stop the different uncertainties in their lives as well as they can be able to stop the crimes that they continually omit.

I hope that this episode will help the other users of drugs and alcohols realize their worth most especially their lives. I hope that in this way, they will be able to decide for themselves to undergo drug addiction treatment and rehab so that they can still save themselves from hell.

When You Are At Your Best:

You are a glamorous, social person. You love being the center of attention and an object of adoration.

People see you as charming and charismatic. You are naturally dazzling. You are ambitious, and find it easy to get ahead in life.

When You Are in a Social Setting:

You are a sensitive, gentle soul. You want to save the world... or as much of it as possible.

People see you as unselfish and well mannered. You truly enjoy being around others, and it shows.

Art Attack

I am really not that creative type of person. I remembered that when I was in my elementary days, I really hate my Art subject. Whenever we have projects, it is always my mom who does it because I really don’t have any touch of creative thinking. Actually, way back then, my mom insisted to enroll me in an art class but I really refused it though I know that I will be able to learn from it.

But then again, when I found out the idea of polymer clay art, I somehow got interested especially when I discovered and saw some of the finished products. By using this, we can create different kinds of accessories and other decorations.

Since I became so keen with my new discovery, I even asked my mom to buy some references on how to use polymer clay as the medium for the products. I also search the net just to get information and other ideas that can develop my skills in art.

Most of the reviews that I read use ceramic pottery kilns to further improve the things that they are doing. Unfortunately, I still don’t have enough budgets for this that’s why I just prefer to stick with the alternatives described in the reviews.

I’m really hoping that this will be a great start for me. I’m quite excited to begin with my new project discovery. I’m pretty sure that I’ll need my mom’s help regarding this matter.

Summer Plans

Summer is on and it is indeed officially starting! Maybe you are now planning your trip. For sure, beaches and other resorts will be a lot more crowded since everyone is looking forward to visit one of them to get their skin tanned, do water sports or just simply relax and enjoy.

As for my family, we are still undecided. As usual, I and my sister are always in charge when it comes to our out of town trip. Actually, she still has no idea on where can we go this summer. Since everyone in our family enjoys the ambiance of Bohol and Boracay, I’m suggesting that we can choose from those two destinations.

Of course, my sister loves to go more to Bohol because for her, Bohol is very much relaxing since it is not that commercialized ad crowded compared to Boracay. But of course, I would prefer Boracay since I am a pretty much of a party goer.

Boracay

Bohol

So what do you guys think? Where is the best place to go this summer? Is it Bohol or Boracay?

Connecting to People

The power of internet has been widely use all over the globe. It’s been a very good source of information for the people, and as well as, it became one of the major options of communicating and connecting to people through various available websites. Likewise, it is now being used for business, advertising and most of all, entertainment.

It is very superficial that this technology is being enjoyed by people who are currently using it. Because of the advantages and useful things that it offers, many people have made their work easier and faster. As we all know, as generations passed, the power of internet is continuously evolving and being developed by different persons who came from distinct countries.

As they develop this notion, they build different sites for advertisements, entertainment and even networking. The best example for this is the Acobay wherein you can share your own thoughts to many people.

Actually, I am planning to join that site and promote my ideas, share my knowledge about books, business, sports and other stuffs that are relevant to my readers. I just hope that as I join this group, I’ll be able to learn new things in return.
