LP #6: Lila (violet)

(This is my shoes that I bought online. At first, I was hesitant to buy it because I’m thinking that I might get the wrong size but still, I end up buying it.

I received these shoes a week before Christmas that’s why it is just in time. I wore it on Christmas day and many were attracted by it.

I really like flat shoes that is why the first time I saw it, I was really happy because its color is also nice and I got it lesser than its original price. It was sale that time that’s why I was able to save more money.)

Marco Polo Davao

It’s been weeks now since our trip from Davao and unfortunately, I haven’t uploaded my pictures because I still have no time and I haven’t got a copy from my sister. I’m also a bit lazy since I have to sort them all and I have to resize them one by one which is a very tedious work for me.

However, I can give some details with regards to our trip. During our first day at Davao, we stayed at one of the famous hotels there which is Marco Polo. We do love the place so much because the facilities are very elegant and nice. As we entered the lobby, there are already artistic designs and classic furniture that caught our attention. And on the right side of the lobby, there’s a small dining area with luxurious table sets and chandeliers.

After we checked in, we immediately checked on our rooms and I was fascinated by the light fixtures. The rooms are very refined and modish and that is why we really enjoyed our stay there. There is a cable TV and even internet connection but then again, I wasn’t able to bring my laptop so I didn’t enjoy the benefits.

Furthermore, we also discovered that our rooms are on the same floor as to the hotel pool and gym. Of course, we checked on it and my niece Bela went crazy when she saw the pool and she even asked her mom to get her swimsuit but sad to say, it was drizzling that time so we were not able to swim. We actually planned to go swimming at night after we had our dinner, but the moment we arrived back at our hotel, we were all tired and we can’t manage to swim anymore plus the fact that the water is icy cold because of the cold weather. Instead, we just took some pictures beside the pool with its cool lighting fixtures. It changes colors from time to time which give nice effects on the water.

HK Nov.23 (Day 4)

On our last day, we dropped by at the Avenue of Stars since the boys want to see the statue of Bruce Lee and the star of Jackie Chan. Since we were already there, I also took some pictures with the star of Jackie Chan.

Right after the Avenue of Stars, we went to Canton Street which is just a walking distance. This is where we found the biggest LV store which my sister is waiting for. She’s very excited and it seems like she went crazy the moment she saw the store and she was too excited to buy her dream bag. At first, she was a bit hesitant to buy for she know how much it will cause her but then, I told her that she deserve to have that bag so she still end up carrying that bag.

Our next stop was the Causeway Bay. We had most of our shopping there and fortunately, we saw the Royce booth in the Supermarket at Times Square. We bought lots of chocolates for our friends and family. After that, we went out to check on the other stores and there, we saw the Crocs store which we all loved. They offered 25% discount that’s why we didn’t had our second thoughts and we bought Crocs for ourselves. In addition, I also bought a bag from Crocs which I really liked.
Next, I and my cousin did more shopping while the others are checking out the Toy’s R Us. We were able to buy shirts for our friends and some accessories for our aunts and grandma.

After our long day shopping, we headed back to our hotel to get our luggage and then took the free shuttle service near BP International and finally took the train going to Airport.

Where's the OC Vien?

This year is a very different year for me. Sometimes, I am much disorganized which is totally not me. There are no exact plans and often times; things will just pop up on my head on the last minute so I end up cramming and rushing certain works. Things on my computer desks are just scattered everywhere and it irritates me a lot for I am not in the mood to clean them. I’m totally stressed out with my assignments and especially with my exams.

What the hell is happening to me? I am totally messed up. This is not really my style and I hate it. I guess I’m still on vacation mood that’s why I can find time to get serious with my studies and likewise organize my things.

Well, I just hope, I can find time to start cleaning up my mess for I don’t want to continue being the messy type of girl. I hope my laziness will not crash my body system so I can work well and orderly.

I want, I want!!

As I was looking for available moving trucks, it seems like my mind is missing some online shopping. LOL! I still have lots of things to research for my school works but I still end up searching for some new stuffs.

I’m really planning to buy new Havaianas but then again, I’m still waiting for a very nice design for this 2009. At first I was really planning to buy Havaianas 4nite because I was hooked up with the idea that it is glowing in the dark, but suddenly, I realized that I rarely wear slippers at night so I will not be able to see frequently the effect of the style.

(Havaianas 4nite)

And so I end up searching again for 2009 collection. And here’s what I’ve found.

It’s the Havaianas Fit. The moment I saw this, I finally decided to buy this instead of the 4nite. For me it’s very posh and I just love the simplicity. I really like the style and it seems like it is very comfortable to wear and fashionable. It’s a bit more expensive than the usual price but what the hey, it’s worth it. LOL!

Well then, who says it’s just an ordinary flip flops? I do have a lot of pairs and I can’t stop myself from buying more. Though there are many imitations now, I still choose to stick with the original for I consider the quality of it. I just love havies and I am one addict collector.

Eraserheads "The Final Set"

And so it’s happening. The final set of the unfinished Eraserheads Reunion concert will be push through. The venue is a battle between The Fort and SM Mall of Asia grounds on March 07, 2009 at 8pm. But I heard that the producers chose the SM Mall of Asia for the final venue of the reunion concert.

I know E-heads fans are so excited about this including me. In fact, I’m now asking my sister and her husband to watch the concert with me but they still don’t know if they can come. I really want to watch the concert since I missed the first part for I was in Baguio at that time. I was pretty much disappointed that I wasn’t able to watch it that’s why I badly want to watch second part. This will be my chance to witness the history of one of the best bands of all time.

These are the ticket prices:

Where’s the Contentment?

I really don’t understand why there are many people who don’t have contentment especially when it comes to their physical appearance. There goes someone who will undergo different cosmetic surgeries and won’t even bother to look at the odds of what might happen. People with white skin want to have their skin tanned and people with tanned skin, will do everything to make their skin white and from curly hair to straight and straight to curly hair.

Likewise, there are some people, dying to lose weight and trying to gain weight. Some will try the modern technology while others will rely on diet pills and stuffs like that. Are they just so conscious with their health? Or they are becoming vain that they just want everything to look perfect?

It seemed so ironic. These things only prove that people never get contented with what they have. But we can’t blame these kinds of people for they have their own lives and they know what’s best for them. All we have to do is to understand them and leave the odds to them.

She's the Pro

Our house at Bulacan is currently under renovation. It started about a couple of months ago and until now; they are still working on it. They have changed plans which caused the delay of the project. It took another month to redesign the house and process the different permits and land titles. It is my uncle who is an architect who took over the designs and plans for the house which became so convenient for us since it did lessen our expenses.

However, I and my mom took over the furniture while the house is being renovated. We already ordered some accessories so that the deliveries will be just in time until the renovation is completed. Likewise, my mom decided to buy some decorative planters for the living room and other parts of the house.

Likewise, she even bought outdoor planters for our garden which will definitely add more details and which will also help enhance the beauty of the plants and flowers that she’s been looking forward to set out.

I know those planters and other accessories which my mother purchased will be excellent for our new house. Well, my mom is an expert when it comes to that. I’m really excited and can’t wait to see our newly renovated house.

Sisters Best

...Happy Birthday sis...

It’s my sister’s birthday today but I was not able to greet her in person because we didn’t see each other since I went home late due to the event that our school attended at Marikina.

My sister is a very nice person and indeed very caring to us and to her family. She’s really fun to be with since she can make you laugh with all her “mali-mali” stuffs. LOL! She’s generous enough that she never forgets to help the important persons around her. But then again, I’m warning you guys that you better back off when she has her so called “topak”. Why? Better ask my sister or her hubby. Hahaha.. (peace ate)

Anyway, I just want to greet my sister a very happy birthday. Wishes of good health, success, happiness and love for her. We love you sis!! God bless you always.

Accounting Defense

We are about to have our defense in our Accounting subject. Probably, we will be scheduled after our midterm exams which will be the next coming week.

We have to admit that we are still not ready yet for we are having a hard time finishing our programs. We don’t have much time to do it since we are also busy working with our other subject. Of course, we cannot just focus on one subject and set aside the others for we have to maintain our grades to be able to stay in our course.

But though we are not yet done with our programs, fortunately, we were able to prepare our clothes for our defense as early as now so that we can avoid rushing with that. For the girls, we decided to wear a black dress which looks totally formal and then for the boys, they agreed to wear long sleeves with silk ties and black pants.

For now, we just have to polish our programs so we can present them well during our upcoming defense. I hope that every one of us will be able to pass this.

Busy Schedule

We’re back from our three days vacation from Davao. But then again, it feels like that my mood is still on vacation that’s why I’m not in a good condition yet to study and do my unfinished business. Unfortunately, I have to face the reality that everything is back to normal. That’s so sad. LOL!

Anyway, I still haven’t uploaded our pictures from our trip but I promise to manage everything when I already have enough time. I know I have to catch up since I haven’t updated my blogs for weeks due to my busy schedule at school.

And now, I do have to apologize again because it’s our midterm examination week which means that I’ll be a lot busy and might not give you some updates. But I’ll be back in a while. I’ll see t it that I will be able to manage my blogs from time to time though I am busy studying and practicing for our upcoming intramurals cheering competition.

Oh well, I think I have to go for now because I still have lots of stuffs to do and I still need to help my cousin with her research about vaginal dryness. I’ll be right back. LOL!

Macau Nov.22 (Day 3)

As usual, we started our day late again. We were able to leave our hotel around 10:30 AM and we started looking for the location where we can ride the ferry going to Macau. The receptionist told us that it is just near our hotel but we really had a hard time looking for it since they don’t have much sign board.

Fortunately, we were able to find it and we were able to catch the 12nn ferry going to Macau. We arrived at around 1 PM then we went straight to the Fisherman’s Wharf to take some pictures then took a cab and went straight to St. Paul Ruins. The plaza was so crowded since there was an event that time. After we took some pictures at the St. Paul Ruins, we decided to eat our lunch and then we left.

Our next destination was the Macau tower which is just a few minutes ride from St. Paul Ruins. We went to the viewing deck to see the amazing view from that tall tower. I have to admit that I got scared with the glass bottom floor of the deck but then I tried to conquer my fear and I’m glad I’ve made it. I didn’t get scared anymore and I was even able to have pictures. Before we leave, we checked on the visitors trying the Sky Walk and the Bungee Jump and I was definitely thrilled and amazed with them.

Our last stop was the Venetian Hotel. We went back at the ferry terminal and took the free shuttle bus to the hotel. The hotel is so beautiful and literally BIG! We took some pictures there and we tried the Gondola ride. It was very fun and we did enjoy our ride with our handsome gondolier Alissio.

Finally, we went back at the ferry station to catch our ferry going back to Hong Kong Island. Well, it was not a good ride since there were big waves! We arrived at our hotel around 10 PM then we just bought food at 7’11 for our dinner since we don’t have enough energy anymore to go to some fast food chain.

LP # 5: Pula

(These are the pictures of my red shoes which I bought last December 2008. I was attracted by it when I first saw it because of the color. Red is my favorite color and I was informed that it was a limited edition that’s why I didn’t hesitate to buy this as a Christmas gift for myself.

As of now, this is my most favorite shoes!

I hope you like my entry for this week.)

InfoTech Seminar

In less than a month, we will be having a big gathering, seminar and exhibit for Information Technology. The venue is still on process that’s why we’re still not sure about the exact place where the event will be held.

This event is open for all schools that have a computer related course and this will serve as the general assembly for all students. Likewise, this big event shoulders different information for the students and other colleagues which will surely benefit them.

Our school is assigned to organize this assembly that’s why the officers, moderators and as well as the members of one of our IT organization are now busy preparing for everything that must be done. Since this will be an outdoor activity, we really need big tents to cover the venue but we still don’t know where we can buy or hire those stuffs and as of now, we are still searching.

Furthermore, the invitations are now distributed to the following schools who will participate in this event. Online registration has already started so that as early as now, we will be able to monitor the number of participants in the said event.

We just hope that we will be able to finalize everything few weeks before the event so that we can avoid rush hour moments that might cause some problems. We all hope that this will be successful and may allow students to acquire more knowledge and help them develop their interactions and other values towards other people.
