Marco Polo Davao

It’s been weeks now since our trip from Davao and unfortunately, I haven’t uploaded my pictures because I still have no time and I haven’t got a copy from my sister. I’m also a bit lazy since I have to sort them all and I have to resize them one by one which is a very tedious work for me.

However, I can give some details with regards to our trip. During our first day at Davao, we stayed at one of the famous hotels there which is Marco Polo. We do love the place so much because the facilities are very elegant and nice. As we entered the lobby, there are already artistic designs and classic furniture that caught our attention. And on the right side of the lobby, there’s a small dining area with luxurious table sets and chandeliers.

After we checked in, we immediately checked on our rooms and I was fascinated by the light fixtures. The rooms are very refined and modish and that is why we really enjoyed our stay there. There is a cable TV and even internet connection but then again, I wasn’t able to bring my laptop so I didn’t enjoy the benefits.

Furthermore, we also discovered that our rooms are on the same floor as to the hotel pool and gym. Of course, we checked on it and my niece Bela went crazy when she saw the pool and she even asked her mom to get her swimsuit but sad to say, it was drizzling that time so we were not able to swim. We actually planned to go swimming at night after we had our dinner, but the moment we arrived back at our hotel, we were all tired and we can’t manage to swim anymore plus the fact that the water is icy cold because of the cold weather. Instead, we just took some pictures beside the pool with its cool lighting fixtures. It changes colors from time to time which give nice effects on the water.
