Low Quality Product

Just this afternoon, I received a package containing two pairs of shoes from my online shopping. To be honest, I’m very disappointed with their poor service because it took two months before they delivered it knowing that it will only came from Marikina and in fact, I ordered three pairs and I only received two pairs, one for me and one for my sister. I texted the owner immediately and she said that they are not yet done with my other shoes so I still have to wait again for the last pair to be shipped.

And here’s another thing, I’m really not satisfied with my orders. It didn’t exactly look like the pictures that they have posted on their site. It doesn’t seem so nice and there are even some damages on the shoes. The sizes are not right and the quality of their products will definitely not satisfy the customers.

I’m really frustrated about this and I bet my sister will be much disappointed too since we spend a lot of money here. I guess we just have to be careful next time to avoid this kind of conflicts.

Always Take Care Caca

I’m having this bad dream for weeks now. I really don’t get the idea of why do I consistently have this nightmare about my friend. I can’t find the reason and it really bothers me a lot and somehow gives me so much worries.

My nightmare is about me and my friend. The scene is we are always stranded in different islands with different people but at the end of the day, we are both left alone and it seems like the others disappear in just a simple snap. During our stay in the islands, she refuses to talk to me. She will just stare at me with her two cold eyes and then smile at me with no reason at all. It may be creepy but I always thought that something is really wrong with my dream. The fact that she chooses to be silent and stare at me blankly, makes me wonder and feel some weird things.

In real life, she’s one of my dearest friends. Though we haven’t seen and talked to each other for a long time, I know that we still remain as friends. But something is bothering me. My interpretation is that she needs help. My friend needs my help but she doesn’t know how to ask me.

I just hope I can overcome this nightmare and I do hope that she’s doing pretty fine and nothing bad has happened to her.

Have A Safe Trip Bro!!

I’ve already talked things about our upcoming Hong Kong trip in some of my posts. Honestly, though we are so excited, we also feel sad and disappointed because my brother cannot make it. He’s not going to join us because he said that he doesn’t have enough budgets since Christmas season is coming and he has to limit his budget so that he can invest more for his current business. Even though we convince him that he still has the chance to avail the cheap tickets, he still prefers to stay.

But what disappoint us more is when we found out that he and his girlfriend will be having a Thailand trip this coming February. He even asked for my sister’s help to book their airline tickets because I think they are having some sort of problem about it. Though how many times we try to ignore this, we just can’t help it because we really want him to be with us since we rarely spend time with him and we thought that this is our best chance to have some bonding. But then again, we can’t blame him. We tried to understand his decisions and plans though we sometimes feel the so called “jealousy”.

I know that their plans are already finalized because I think they already booked their flights and all they have to do is to wait for the confirmation and then pay for their airline tickets. Well, we just wish them a happy and safe trip and I hope they will enjoy.

It's a Great Promo

It’s been a month since my brother got his new Toyota Innova. Actually, before he came up with a decision of buying the said model, he went through a lot of suggestions and opinions that made him so confused. There were too many offers and promos which made him so overwhelmed, but I think the greatest factor that he considered when he bought his car were the benefits that he can acquire. These benefits include free services and free one year auto insurance that’s why it wasn’t hard for him to make a decision and grab this opportunity the moment he found out about the offer.

Since the offer is almost perfect, he immediately processed everything so he can now have his new car. And as it happened, he felt so excited and happy with his decision. Now, he’s encouraging my sister who is also planning to buy their new car to contact and trust his car agent since everything is doing well with his car. He really did acquire the benefits and his free auto insurance was already processed. It only proved that the promo was definitely not a scam as well as the benefits.

Well, obviously my sister is starting to consider this notion because it will be a great advantage for them and it will definitely lessen their expenses due to the free services included. I know this will somehow ease their mind because they are not only protected by the car insurance, but also, they have the assurance that the company is really a trustworthy one which means that they will have the best and honest services.

I just hope that eventually, everything will be settled for my sister’s family. All they have to do is to finalize their decision as well as their budget so they can finally have their brand new car.

Our Next Destination: Davao

We are scheduled for a trip this coming November 20, 2008 ad our destination is Hong Kong and Macau. Everyone is excited about it but wait, there is still more reason to be excited.

After our Hong Kong trip, we are again scheduled to have a vacation at Davao this coming January for my sister’s birthday celebration. And yes, flights are finally booked and probably, we are going to stay at the Pearl Farm.

Honestly, I really had no intention of coming with them since I have classes to attend by then. In fact, I’ve already made up my mind not to join them but then again, my sister is such a bad influence (but good on the other side). LOL!! She started to tempt me every day and making me envious about their trip so that somehow I’ll change my mind and go with them. And so it happened. She’s really convincing me and she really didn’t give up until I answered YES!!

And so, early this evening, I decided to go with them. I booked the same flight as theirs without any hesitation and without considering my classes. After all, I deserve a treat and I really need time to break away from my busy life at school. LOL!!

I was with my friend this whole afternoon. We went to Trinoma because we are both bored and got nothing else to do since we are on vacation. We ate our lunch together and after that, I accompanied and helped him to buy his business attires that he will need for his job training.

After we have finished shopping for his clothes, I decided to treat him since I owe him much and it’s been really a very long time since I saw him. But he refused it because he was still full due to our lunch. Instead, I decided to ask him what gift he wants to receive from me this coming Christmas. At first he was hesitant to tell me because he’s not used in telling people what he really wants. But then I insisted and finally, he said that he wants to have a pulse oximeter because he will need it on his job. I bought one for him and I told him that I will only give it to him on Christmas day so that we have reasons to see each other on that day. LOL!!

I know he was a bit disappointed but still happy on the other side. Oh well, I really had a great time with him and I hope we can get along more often.

Who's the One?

Most people say that I look mostly like my brother. The resemblances of our faces are quite closer compared to my sister. Well, the first time I heard about that, I didn’t actually believe it because in fact, when we were younger, we even teased each other that we are not related because none of us have similarities if you will look at our faces. We sometimes joked that we are all adopted and we have different parents that’s why we don’t even have any resemblance at all. And the silliest part of that was when we asked our parents to conduct DNA testing. Our parents just constantly laughed at us and then later on we will realize how stupid and crazy we are to think about those kinds of stuffs. LOL!

And now I’m asking you. Do I look like my brother or my sister? Well, I bet I just have to wait for your opinions so I can convince myself more. LOL!

(This was taken a couple of months before during my friend’s debut. I can say that this picture is very memorable and important for me. During this time, I can’t avoid the sadness that I was feeling because at that time, I’m facing too many problems with one of the most important persons in my life. I can’t avoid thinking about the loneliness and pain that I was going through.

But then I never lose hope. I tried to fight the urge of the things that have been happening. And just like the light, it symbolizes a new hope for me. I just thought that I was never alone for I have my friends and of course my family.)

Off to Beach

Since we are on vacation now, I and my friends planned to get along because we rarely see each other during school days since we are all busy with our studies and we thought that this will be our great chance to spend time together. Though it’s not yet the summer season, everyone agreed to spend our vacation at Batangas. We will be staying there for two days and we are planning to leave this coming October 28. Everything is well planned now including our hotel accommodation, budget and van for our transportation.

Of course everyone is pretty excited and as early as now we are starting to check the things that we will need for our trip. And for myself, I already did my check list for the things that I’m planning to bring and here it is.

-pool floats (I know one of my friend will definitely need that. LOL)

Famous Hollywood actress Jessica Alba was spotted shopping at Beverly Hills with husband and friends. This was taken just few weeks after giving birth to her first child. Indeed, Jessica regained her figure in no less than a month and it seems like she still haven’t given birth with that kind of figure. She looks slim and definitely, she did lose a lot of weight easily.

Jessica Alba admitted that she was really desperate to lose weight that she gained during her pregnancy period. But I wondered if she has undergone an operation or if she has taken some slimming pills that helped her to regain her figure in a shorter period of time.

Well, she has a lot of money and she really can afford a lot of ways if she’s really that desperate. But definitely, we can say that she’s really one hot momma!! There’s no doubt about it.

Sure Fun and Excitement

One month to go for my niece’s third birthday party. All of us are very excited and of course, the most excited one is her mom who is my sister. She always wants her daughter’s party to be perfect and in fact, it takes so many months of preparation.

My niece’s birthday theme is somewhat a jungle adventure and they chose Madagascar because it really fits the said theme. Almost everything is settled now including the venue, caterer, food carts and other details for the party. Costumes and gowns of the birthday celebrant are almost done as early as now. My sister’s hubby is currently working on the layout of the invitations and tarpaulins so that they can immediately send them for printing.

See how the preparation goes? She really spends too much money for this. Actually, I’m starting to tease her. I sometimes asked her for her plans for her daughter’s fourth birthday. Just like the other night, I told her; “Why not try the Disney cruises next year? I’m sure Bela and her friends will have lots of fun!”, and then she smiled and said, “I’ll try to think about it!” then we both laughed because we know that it will be too expensive. LOL!

Will this be a Great Help?

It’s been a month since I had my last appointment with my dermatologist. I’ve been very busy for the last couple of weeks that’s why I was not able to visit her and have my follow up acne treatments.

Fortunately, I was able to make an appointment with her and I went there this morning to have my treatment. When I got there, there was a long queue waiting for their turn but since I have my own schedule, I don’t have to wait for quite a long time.

She examined my pimples and I explained her that before and after my monthly period, my pimples boost and it’s really irritating because it’s very itchy and reddish. She suggested that I should undergo a hormonal treatment to cure the irregular hormones that causes my pimples from appearing before and after my monthly period. She told me to ask for my mom’s permission to have a check-up with the OB Gyne so I can have a clearance for taking the hormonal treatment.

Skateboards for Transportation?

I was watching Jessica Soho Reports yesterday. One of their featured issues caught my attention. It talks about the campaign for using skateboards as means of transportation. They said that we can lessen pollution if we choose to use skateboards in lieu of other vehicles that uses gasoline. They even said that it is best to use it for practicality because as we all know, our economy is not that good that’s why prices of products are getting more expensive.

I did understand their notion and purpose but I don’t actually agree with them. Yes, uses of skateboards are more practical but what about our safety? We all know that it is quite dangerous and more prone to accidents. It’s not that easy to use and indeed very tedious.

If only they could enhance the skateboards by making it more stable and secured, then I guess we can now consider it as an alternative for transportation. But for now, I would probably stick to cars as well as jeepneys and spend more money for fare and gasoline rather than spending it for my hospitalization.

Most girls are known for being vain, posh and even figure conscious. We always make sure that we look very pleasing to others especially when we are in a big crowd of people. We sometimes want to be the best and stand out from others and be proud of ourselves.

Maybe these are the reasons why many cosmetics and other alternatives for enhancing beauty and figure are widely known and introduced nowadays. Just like the use of diet pills to lose weight. But I wonder if use of these pills is effective and harmless.

Due to my curiosity, I decided to search something about it. It was seen live on the screen and people were shocked as well as the other WWE superstars for what they have seen. But then again, as we all know, everything was just a set up and scripted and what had happened was obviously part of the show.

The Worst Is Yet to Come

Judgment day is fast approaching. The day that I'm trying to ignore these past few days because I’m really expecting the possible worst case scenario. Oh well, I’m talking about the distribution of our grades. LOL!

I’m really nervous. I don’t know if I was able to make it since I know in myself that I didn’t give my best. I know that I deserve lower grades because I am very honest that I’m not good enough for my course. I admit it and I can see it beyond my skills and capabilities. I never thought that this will be a lot harder for me. Though I’m not happy anymore with what I’m doing in school, I’m still trying to catch up and do everything to stay in this field and perhaps graduate in time.

Yes, I’m being too pessimist but I can’t resist having these thoughts because I’m being preoccupied with the hardships that I’m trying to surpass. I know that in time, I’ll be definitely be out from this abyss and sooner than later, enjoy the benefits of all my efforts and hard works.

Home Sweet Home

Last couple of weeks; I spent most of my time in helping my friend and her family to move to their new house. We tried to put everything in order and I even helped them to decorate and choose new furniture and accessories such as the lighting products.

We went to their supplier so we can choose the best and trendy style that can definitely match the house’s color theme in a very friendly price. We arrived with the same choice which is black and white since they want to have it simple yet elegant looking. And to add more details, they decided to buy ceiling fans for their living room and lamps for each room.

They are very happy with their new atmosphere as well as their new stuffs that really give an outstanding look and elegance in their house. Every detail really matched with the theme just like the ceiling fan with palm leaf blades, their new sofa and lighting accessories. Their new ambience is really soothing in the eyes and indeed very relaxing.

Last night, I and my mom were watching together. We spotted a program that features different applications for mobile phones that we can use by buying or downloading from a licensed company or site.

One of the applications that were featured during the show was the new GPS tracking or the navigator. It is very useful because it can determine the exact location of the vehicle or even the person using maps. Suddenly my mom thought that I should have this application so that she will be able to know the places I go to because she’s been complaining that I’m always busy hanging out with my friends which is quite untrue because actually, I don’t have time for my social life anymore because I’m forever busy with school stuffs. (I hate it!!)

But my mom was just kidding that time since she knows exactly what I’m going through right now regarding with my studies and I thank her for that.

Shopaholic!!

I was having an online chat with my friend and he asked me to help him find something over the net for his motorcycle. Sine I’m not doing anything yet, I agreed to help him. But before I start looking for Harley parts, I decided to visit some of my favorite sites for online shopping.

I always love flats since it is very comfortable to wear. Even when I go to school, I wear flats so I can run whenever I’m late for my class. LOL!

Shorts are very in nowadays and I must admit that I am one of the girls who goes everywhere by just wearing a shorts. It’s very fashionable right? It all depends on how you carry yourself.

I really want to buy a bigger bag that will fit my laptop and my other stuffs whenever I go to school and I think this bag may be appropriate and I love the design. It’s so girly. LOL!

2. Is there an author that you don't like, yet so many people seem to love?
I don’t seem to like John Grisham and I don’t know why.

3. Name a book to film adaptation that you really like. Name one you think was done poorly.
Definitely, The Da Vinci Code. I was so disappointed when I watched the movie because when you read the book, there are so many details and highlights of the story that cannot be found in the movie.

4. Where do you buy your books?
Powerbooks and Fully booked.

5. What genre do you read the most?
Any genre will do but I’m always fascinated by love stories.

6. What genre do you dislike?
I don’t like horror.

7. Is there a book that has changed your life?
Not really, but it did give me lots of lessons.

8. Have you ever met an author? What author would you like to meet?
Not yet. Of course I want to meet all my favorite authors but the first on my list is Paulo Coelho.

Laugh Out Loud

Every day, my friends send me jokes through text messages. Some of them are really funny but some are not and so corny. But still, they help me brighten up my day since they can make me laugh and start my day with a smile.

During our break time in our school, we sometimes crank some jokes with each other just to avoid boredom because we really have a long break and most of the times; we ran out of works to do that’s why we take it as our usual past time. Often times, the guys are the ones who have more guts to deliver their lines no matter how cheesy or corny it may seem.

But we must also remember that jokes can sometimes hurt someone’s feelings even though it’s not meant to hurt people. So we should always be prudent when it comes to this to avoid problems with one another.

Travel Plans

Few years back, my sister was assigned by her company for training outside the country that lasted for almost two weeks. It was a really great opportunity for her that’s why she didn’t hesitate to agree with it. After her training, she was allowed to have her vacation for two weeks so she decided to ask her hubby to follow her so they can spend time there together.

They decided to visit their friends who they haven’t seen for quite a long time. Their friends surprised them with Boston Red Sox Tickets because they know that my sister’s hubby is so into sports. They were very happy because they never expected that their friends will bother to spend money just to treat them for a game.

They went to different places and they did experience so many things that cannot be found here in our country. They went shopping, picture taking and all that. They even planned to watch a football game but unfortunately, the New England Patriot Tickets were already sold out so they never had a chance to watch it but still they enjoyed their entire trip.

And now, they are planning to travel again but this time, with their daughter. In fact, their daughter has her visa now so they can leave anytime they want. They want their daughter to have fun and they are even planning to have a reservation for Wicked Tickets before they leave.

They are really looking forward to push through with their plan that’s why they are really saving enough money for their next trip.
