We are all aware about the sudden widespread of illicit drugs not only in our country but all around the globe. It is really evident that most of the victims are the teenagers who don’t have proper education and guidance by their family.
Unfortunately, my former friend is also under the influence of drugs. It all started when they migrated last 2006. He was influenced by some of the students at their school who use drugs even around the campus. He told me that he was also forced to do such things because of their family problems that he can’t handle. He chose to rebel hoping that he will be able to forget their problems. But then, his life became so miserable that he can’t even face his own family.
His parents decided to send him to Substance Abuse Rehab so he can undergo counseling and proper teaching. But he doesn’t want to go there that’s why he escaped after a couple of days and went straight to his friends and continued to use drugs.
His parents were informed with the incident and then they decided to search for their son and fortunately he was found right away. He was then brought to another Drug Addiction Rehab and his parents talked to him and pleased him to follow.
Years passed and he was able to show improvements and he was even the one who requested her parents if he can undergo the California Drug Treatment so he can have a simultaneous development.
I’m very happy for him and his parents. I hope victims like him will learn to change and choose a better life.

There are some very good resources out there to help find the appropriate treatment center for an individual. As there are all different types of Rehabilitation centers to choose from. They make it easier to find one that is suited for the individual and the family’s needs better, with their expertise and knowledge.
