I'll Be Like You Someday

I know how excited my sister is for her second baby. This time, it’s a boy that’s why she and her hubby are very much happy and grateful for their blessings.

I admire my sister when it comes to raising her kids. Well of course, she definitely learned it from my mom. What I like most about them is they really set goals for the future of their kids unlike for some who doesn’t have any priorities or plans.

Like for instance, though my sister is not yet giving birth to her second baby, she’s now preparing for the baby’s future. She’s starting to get free online life insurance quotes for the security of her baby and she did exactly the same with Bela, their first child.

My sister only wants her family to be secured in case anything happens in the future. Of course, like any other moms, she always wants the best for her family especially to her children.

Restaurant City

This is my restaurant city. I am now in level 42 and until now I still manage to play with it. But honestly, it is actually my boyfriend who plays this more than I do.

I helped him update my restaurant but it is always him who decorates the place. I only give suggestions on what to put and upgrade and he is the one who approves for everything that you see in my restaurant.

Like for instance, I was the one who asked him to have a separate place for the comfort room and the sinks. Before the sinks are beside the toilet bowl and I observed that it’s a bit crowded so I suggested putting it to another place.

I am not really good in decorating and arranging the furniture that’s why I badly need some help when it comes to this. I do trust my boyfriend about this because I know how creative and artistic he is.

Election 2010

In just a few months, 2010 election will happen. And so, in preparation, the political candidates are starting to campaign for their position.

Honestly, I really hate election period. I really hate seeing the various advertisements of each candidate proclaiming their vows to all Filipinos and flaunting their agendas, which I’m sure, is very far from reality.

I mean, come on, and let’s face it. Most of the political candidates are good in words but never in actions. They are the type of leaders who are the so-called starters, meaning they are just great in starting a project but never had a chance to have a beneficial ending.

I must admit, I am very much annoyed with Manny Villar. I can’t get his point of broadcasting how poor he was before. Does it mean that if you came from a poor family, you will become a good leader? Hell NO! I am really irritated whenever I see his face in the tv with his different commercials. I swear, I will not vote for him. LOL!

I just wish that people will think of their votes. Every single vote can change our country. If I were you, I will give extra effort in dealing this matter. Make a research. So that you will have an idea on what kind of a leader they are.

Sunday Agenda

I got home around 8pm a while ago. I went to school in a Sunday at 8am since we were supposed to take our defense but unfortunately we were not qualified but our professor required us to come to school as runners (or helpers, meaning the one who will buy food for the panels, the assistants of the students who took their defense and the like).

After lunch, our shift ended so we were allowed to go home. But instead of going home, I met up with my boyfriend and we visited our friend who was hospitalized due to drinking of too much adipex without prescription. Good thing she’s doing so well now.

After visiting our friend, we decided to go to the mall to eat. We then agreed to watch a movie, and then went straight home after we’ve finished watching.

I am a bit sleepy now since I woke up early this morning so I think I better go.

A Very Special Day

Last December 30, 2008 was our first anniversary of my boyfriend. In fact I’ve already posted a glimpse of our simple celebration in my previous post.

Though this was a very important event for us, we still chose to celebrate it in a very simple way. We just met up, eat our dinner and then that was it. For us, the way we celebrate it was not a really big deal. For as long as we’re together, we are definitely happy and contented about that.

But one thing that made our anniversary truly special was his surprise for me. As I’ve said in my previous post, he gave me a ring but that was just a simple anniversary gift and not an engagement ring, so please, don’t think such things like that! Maybe in the next 5 years or so, I might receive a ring with loose diamonds while he’s kneeling in front of me and asking me to marry him. LOL!

Well, let’s just see what will happen. After all, we are still young to plan things like these. For now, we just want to enjoy each moment that we have and we both know that we still have a long way to prove our love for each other.

The Things I Want To Do

Ever since the first semester of my fourth year in college started, I barely enjoy my social life. Almost everyday, I’m working on my papers, doing some research, interviewing different professionals in the industry and most of all, trying to pass our DEFENSE.

Since then, I rarely use cell phones, tvs or even radios and all I’m using is just my laptop. I spend so much hours typing and surfing the net just to finish the documents so I can submit it on time. I seldom go to malls and have some shopping with my friends, and the worst of all,

I’ve missed so many gatherings. I really feel sad every time I think about this. But then, I do understand why I have to get through this. This is also for my own sake and I know that I can earn benefits from this.

So I guess, I just have to focus now, after all, I’m only months away and I’m off to do what I’m craving to do for a very long time. LOL!

One Great Place

As I was browsing through some of my old pictures, I suddenly remembered how I loved and enjoyed our stay in HK especially our last trip there wherein we checked in at HK Disneyland hotel.

I am actually a fan of Mickey Mouse, which is why I really adored the place and as well as our room since everywhere you look, you can see a touch of Mickey Mouse. Even there tv mounts have an image of it that’s why I took so many pictures of myself in our room.

Though we just stayed there for night since we have to transfer to another hotel that is closer to the city, it was all worth it. Every single cent that we spent doesn’t matter anymore because everything is commendable.

How I wish we can go back there now but unfortunately, I still have no time because I need to finish all my school works since I am graduating (hopefully) this coming April.

Oh well, there’s always a next time for this but I hope that it will be VERY SOON!

Our Class Seminar

I was supposed to be looking for Mopar performance parts since my brother asked me to canvass for the prices of some accessories to upgrade the parts of his friend’s car. But then again, my classmate interrupted me and he asked me to check my mail immediately.

And so, I opened my email to check the updates for our seminar tomorrow. I do have a big responsibility in our seminar since I am one of the hosts and this is somehow a big event for our college department so I really need to review the flow of the program so I won’t get lost during the seminar.

I have to admit that I am nervous about this. The whole faculty of Computer Science will attend our seminar as well as the other faculties under the College of Engineering and Technology. Plus, there will be hundreds of attendees and that’s why I feel so pressured.

This will be the first time that I will be hosting a big event and this is really nerve racking. I just hope that everything will turn out fine and all the hard works of our class will be worth it.

Wish us luck!
